When we first bought our home in April of 2012. We couldn't move in for a month. Our realtor recommended Joe Dozier's Lawn Service. We went with them. They are located a distance from Spring Hill, TN and charge a gas surcharge of $3.50, which I included in the price above. It didn't seem an unreasonable surgcharge. They didn't come for the first two weeks and our lawn grew quite long. Then they came and did a very good job. Whoever did the edging was really good. The crew unloads their equipment and swoops onto the lawn, and they are finished in about 10 minutes tops. The lawn looks great. They never scalped my lawn as some services do. Our only problem with this service was we never new when they were coming. In June/July they didn't come for two weeks, which meant we had three weeks of grass growing. Every week we would think they were coming and not call. The crab grass went crazy. They finally came. The other thing is they started out coming on Thursday and then it could be Thursday or Friday, then it ended up being on Saturday. This last mowing was done on a Wednesday. I had my gates locked because I didn't know they were coming, so they couldn't mow our backyard. Because of they are unpredictable, and I now have a gate I keep locked, I don't know if we can continue to use their services. The price didn't seem unreasonable for what they did.
