It could not have been worse if they tried. Took almost 3 YEARS, lots of my time, energy, and money, as well as threatening legal action to have all work completely done. Unprofessional shoestring family operation cut corners, did poor quality work, said anything to placate customer. Broke water line multiple times while digging for loops then charged ME to replace it, saying it was old and would have broken on its own. Broke internet/phone lines more than once then put back in ground with improper repair Didn't keep topsoil on top when digging for loops, so now my yard has red clay where the loops are underground. Nothing will grow on top of this area. Was told I was getting (and paying for) new duct work, then discovered they were trying to reuse the old stuff while charging me for new. (Fortunately, that plan didn't work, so I got new duct work). One of their own employees told me about this. Heat pump did not work right, even after several trouble-shooting sessions, including bringing in someone from another company. Had no heat on Thanksgiving after having the NEW unit installed in July of same year. Took a year of phone calls and going round and round with the "office manager" to get a new unit and get it installed. (Second) New unit is 3 ton while ground loops are for a 2-ton system (which was size of original unit). So basically the loop is not long enough for circulation before it returns to the system, meaning poor efficiency and it simply cannot keep up to cool or heat after a certain point. A reputable HVAC company's service person told me this after I got frost (not condensation) on the loop lines inside my house in winter. (So after paying all that money for a more sustainable heat pump, I didn't get one.) The main duct off the system is not the proper size (it's a 14" but a 16" was called for). They put in a breaker box for my hot water heater (which was moved to be able to easily run excess heat from the unit to heat hot water in the summer) then left the wiring undone (yes that's potentially deadly because while you could flip the switch, the breaker was not actually turning off). They ran an electrical line outside a wall for 4 ft. then said they couldn't fix it when I complained (truth is, they didn't want to take the time to fish the wire inside the wall). I could go on and on and on, but I think you get the idea. None of the problems with my system can be fixed now, without spending thousands of dollars more, which I don't have because I spent it all on this system. I say this to underscore for you how important it is to hire the right contractor to install your geothermal system. Main point: RUN, don't walk, away from this "service provider" (and I use those words very loosely here). If you're looking for a geothermal system, there are several good companies in this area. Unfortunately, A&C Geothermal is not one of them.

What the provided did was explained above.
Description of Work: The request was to exam and repair a Uponor radiant heating system in the floor of a bathroom. The request started in January 2014. But due to really cold and snowy weather, the service was put off until later. The request continued to be pushed further and further. The office manager would always promise to call back but never did. This request was not handled in a professional manner and I finally gave up calling and got the name of another contractor who did show up. I would not recommend this contractor.
