Once started Marteen and Jorge did a very good job. All work was done and completed in a timely manner. Would recommend this company.

I would NOT recommend this company for anything! The work they did for us was done very well, however, their business practices are completely dishonest and misleading. They came out and did an estimate for our foundation. They gave us a price based on what they estimated for block and labor. They over estimated the amount of block needed by over 30%! Now I have almost a thousand blocks in my yard, that I am being charged for as well as the labor that would have been charged, HAD THEY USED these blocks! The owner, Trey Sherrod, states that we were given the price as a finished product and they did not take into consideration the number of blocks used or the labor it takes to install them! How does that work? They come out and tell us it will take 3,000 blocks plus labor to install the block but when it only takes 2/3 of that, they still expect to be paid for the remaining block and labor that was not even touched! So now we are supposed to pay for block that was included in the estimate, but not used, as well as the labor that was never performed. This is a deceptive business practice at best and should be criminal! The owner states that his contract price was not based on their estimate of product and labor involved to do the job. If this was so, then why did they even come out and "estimate" the number of blocks needed? If this was so, then what was their estimate even based on? We were under the impression that this was a reputable company but we are quickly seeing that this is not the case. The main reason we went with Top to Bottom was that we could not get ANYONE else to come out and give us an estimate. My advice to others is that NO MATTER WHAT, get more than one estimate to keep you from getting taken advantage of by deceptive companies such as this. The owner correctly stated that we would not even be having this problem had all of the blocks been used...HE IS RIGHT! Had all the blocks been used, then we would have gotten what we paid for and paid for the labor used to install the blocks. Please, if you decide to this company, get an itemized estimate for the entire project so that you do not end up paying for labor that is not performed and materials that are not needed. And by the way, the owner also says that the remaining blocks that are sitting in my yard belong to HIM, not us. Must be nice to get one customer to pay for the materials needed for your next job so that you can charge both customers for the same materials. Although Mr. Sherrod says that they do not charge by the block, when we take the approximate price for the block ($2 per block) and the amount of labor ($2 per block) to in stall, we come up to approximately $11.00 per block installed. We have since talked to another block company and they stated that most companies typically charge between $4.00 and $4.50 per block to install. Buyer beware is all I can say. All of my contact information is being attached to this review as it is NOT being done by an "anonymous" person but by a very dissatisfied customer! This is under Foundation Repair as the app would not let me add Foundation Installation. This was the foundation for an 1,800 square foot addition.

I did not know anyone affiliated with the company before they responded to my inquiries, nor did I know anyone who had used them. They provided a very competitive bid, and came to make a bid quickly, and agreed to do the work much more quickly than other bidders, which I needed to avoid another basement flooding, and to accomplish it before my impending surgery. They were very professional and responsive in drawing up a professional contract, the crew showed up on time and took good care of my property, and listened to my concerns and adapted to them. They finished the work before the concerning rains came, and had good ideas on how to enhance the design. Most importantly, it was done right as best as I can detect, and they sprung no surprises or fine print, and settled up on time and with the understood budget. I will use them again, and recommend them to other people.
