Ed's Place Appliances

Our washer was shaking on the spin cycle to the point I thought it would self-destruct. We were considering replacing it which brought us to Ed's Place in Springfield, Tn. We told Ed we were about to give up on the old washer and the problem with it. Ed told me he was virtually sure he knew what the problem was and how to fix it. He sold us the necessary parts for about $15 and gave me instructions on how to replace the old parts. I was able to replace the parts and put the machine back together in short order. The machine worked as good as ever except for a shuddering and grating noise at the end of the spin cycle. I went back to Ed's Place and explained the new problem to Ed. He told me he could show me how to fix that problem and using a machine he had on display, even got down on the floor to point out the exact place to put a dab of grease. That fixed the problem and the washer has now been back in service for about two weeks, working better than ever. What an exceptional experience. We might have been in Ed' Place once before but did not know Ed until our recent experience with our washer which we obtained elsewhere some years ago. We will certainly be recommending Ed's Place whenever the occasion arises.
