 + -1 moreI cannot say enough good things about my experience with Turcios Masonry. We had some foundation problems which we repaired, the foundation company tried to patch a crack in the mortar of our brick home, and it looked terrible. I left a message on Monday, and Adin called me back later that day. He came out on a Wednesday while we weren't home, and quoted us for the job. A mason came out on Thursday, took out the old mortar, and on Friday he matched and replaced it. He did such a great job, you can't even tell where the original bad patchwork was done. They stuck to the price they quoted, and Adin texted to make sure I was happy with the work. From start to finish, I had a great experience with Turcos Masonry. I would highly recommend them!

 + -1 moreThe redone steps are level but the mortar work is a bit sloppy. Thought it just needed some water to wash it off but that hasn't helped. The mortar between the bricks falls onto the bricks and makes it look less than sharp. They tried to reuse all of the original bricks due to the challenge in finding matching bricks, but the end result is just eh.

 + -1 moreAwesome. Very happy. I called Turcios on Saturday, he answered the phone live and said he would be out Monday to give an estimate. Monday he came when he said he would come. His estimate was fair and competitive so we asked him to do the work. Three days later he arrived with his team and the work was done in an expert manner by day's end. The next morning they came to remove the supports and clean up, and even raked the grass around the slab. Professional. Nice. Easy to work with and he does what he says he will do.

Description of Work: applied sealant to aggregate patio, driveway & brick. He did not know how to use the sealant & I printed out directions from the online site of the product. (product was not suppose to be used on brick) He also applied some other crack filler to some other areas and did not flatten it into the crack but instead left it like a worm sitting on top of the crack. it has since crumbled away. His wife came to help him one day & she clearly did to normally do this type of work with him. while they tried their best, the job was not done well, i would not hire them again for this work. i was so disgusted to pay for the work. however, i did hire them in 2011 for cement work and he and his male partner did a good job (which is why i did hire them for this as he offered that he knew how to do it)

I had a crack running up the side of my house from settling that needed repaired. It ran through the mortar mainly but also through several bricks. Adin quoted $850 for the job. I had had a handyman quote $1,000 for the same job a few days prior and I didn't get the sense that this was even a specialty of his. Adin came out two days later, did the job, and it looks great. I was very happy with is work and he is a very nice guy to book. I would recommend him to anyone.

 + -1 moreIt was great! This guy showed up and did the work right away. I had been trying for weeks to get two other companies out but they just dragged their feet. Adin showed up exactly when he said he would. I should have asked him to give me a price first. I honestly didn't expect him to come out and do it as fast as he did! I asked him to come down on his initial price of $275 which he did. He has workers comp and general liability so I know that adds to his overhead but also his legitimacy as a business owner. Overall, a great guy! I look forward to using him in the future.
Description of Work: Adin chiseled out the old mortar and re-filled with new on a single step for an entry patio.
