My builder put in a Rheem unit that was a lemon. I had to have it repaired constantly. Finally it died, after the warranty was up. I contacted Kevin at Spring Hill Heating and Air and he came out and talked to me about the possibilities. He provided a good list of possibilities to get my going again, from a band aid that would have fit a small budget up to a state of the art unit. He did not push, but clearly stated the information I would need to make an informed decision. After choosing the unit I wanted to go with, he worked with my schedule to get it installed. His workers came on time and did the job efficiently in the amount of time he said it would take. Everyone was pleasant to be around, and Kevin stayed around afterward to make sure I could work the thermostat. He even called back the next day to check on everything. I would heartily recommend them.

Did not call before getting here as I requested. The technician tested capacitor but did not test compressor. He mentioned that there was a leak but that his company would not test for leaks on a unit as old as mine. He then gave me a quote for $232 for 4 to 5 lbs of coolant which he said it would take to fill mine up. I asked if this would even help if there was a leak. He said it could run out again in 2 weeks as it was probably the evaporator coil upstairs in attic. He said it would cost a lot of money to replace the evaporator coil and that I should just get a new unit. He then quoted me $4500 for a new unit. I asked him to e-mail this quote to me but I never got it. I had to pay $40 for the service call. I since found out that evaporator coils can be replaced fairly easily for a lot less money than he let on. He also did not quote me a price just for the condensor unit outside as there is nothing wrong with my upstairs unit with the exception of the coil. In the meantime, I have purchased two window a/c units to get me through the rest of this Summer and I will replace my condensor and evaporator coil in the Spring. I will not purchase either from this company. I was dissappointed as I found that this company received an A- on the BBB site.
