+ -1 moreWe have not yet contracted the work. After getting several quotes on the project, we felt we needed to save additional dollars (we do not want to get a loan for the project). While we thought we had saved enough, the contractors all quoted more than we had allocated for the project. We also originally wanted a Christmas competition date- -since we missed that date, we have some additional time to save.
Description of Work: Mark came to our house several times to gather information on building an addition to a small cottage on our property. He arrived on time and was always professional. He made us feel comfortable and sat down when he had all his figures and went through each item to make sure we understood each cost. We also appreciated that he had each construction piece with costs broken down in writing. It was good to know why the costs were what they were. He was very knowledgeable about the construction business,

+ 0 moreTerrible and worse. - Job, contract started 10/3/2013 to be completed 11/20/2013 before holidays. Apparently there was no intention of completed on time as major components were not even ordered on January 6th, 2014 when Mark notified us he didn't have any funding to complete our job. (Scope of work never changed - his original drawing confirm) Project was 25% over budget. We are very sad how this project ended. We reviewed many contractors, 6 through Angie's List, and we were confident and hoping for Mark to deliver a good job. It did not happen. Total bad experience.

+ -1 moreHe was a good guy and I liked him. He did higher end renovations and it didn’t work for me. He was a straight guy and told me that he wouldn’t charge me more than I was willing to pay. He got back to me pretty quickly on the first bid but I don’t know if I ever heard anything back from him on the second bid.
Description of Work: Integrity Renovations gave me two different quotes for two different properties to do some renovation work.

+ 7 moreIt went very well. Mr. Kleeman is a gentleman and a professional. He was attentive to my budget and worked with me on picking out all the amenities with that budget in mind. He also made sure all his work was safe, thorough and cleaned up when he was finished. He kept in contact with me and always returned my phone calls. He did a great amount of tile work that is flawless. The bead board looks great and it is water tight thanks to his insistence that we use an enamel paint that withstands moisture exposure.He gave me the bathroom of my dreams. I continue to call him to this day to repair/replace items aorund the house including window seals, kitchen sink seal, front/back porch repair and weather coating, fence repair, and he is now working to install an interior door, replace my microwave and replace some windows. He is just a blessing to know and work with- you will enjoy working with him.

+ -1 moreWe obtained Mr. Mark Kleeman's name from Angie's list because we were in need of some necessary renovations due to water damage. Mr. Kleeman responded quickly, was punctual, very knowledgeable and patient in explaining and answering questions. He inspected our home thoroughly from top to bottom. We didn't realize how involved it was and didn't know which way to go about taking care of the damage. He explained that we needed to call our Insurance Co. first, because the damage was extensive and they needed to evaluate it. He explained the process and pointed out potential problems that only a proficient, professional, trained, efficient eye would notice. He called back and offered his services if we needed him to speak with the midigator concerning our problems.( He noticed how upset I was.) Mr. Kleeman was truly our" Guardian Angel". He was right on point. He explained everything and 'got the ball rolling' When the insurance adjustor came we were already knowledgeable concerning the process of demolition and renovation, He also offered names of services that were competent in getting our work done. He spent so much of his time with us and alleviated much of our anxieties.. I will surely keep his name in our file if we ever need any renovations done on our home. The insurance co. is taking care of this job using their demolition crew. INTEGRITY RENOVATIONs --Mr. Kleeman truly lives up to the name "INTEGRITY." Thanks always, Ronald & Edwina Toms

+ -1 moreMark came to see us and he measured the room, talked with us so he understood what we were wanting. He said he would be back in touch with a design, cost etc within a week. He was very punctual and called if he was running late. True to his word, he came back out with a beautiful and very functional design. He had color swatches and all I needed to do was pick out the colors I liked and knobs for the cabinets. He siad it would take 2 weeks and that is what it took in spite of Home Depot not having the cabinets when he wanted them! He was extremely organized, courteous, and very pleasant. I could not be happier with my new laundry room. It turned out much nicer than I expected and is fantastic. I am going to really enjoy this new area!
Description of Work: Mark designed a plan for my laundry room. It included moving washer and dryer, lengthening the power cord for the dryer, relocating an air vent, putting in cabinets and counter. He also painted the room and painted the cabinets so all was color coordinated.

+ 1 moreThis job was a huge job that took three months. The house was built in 1961. Long story short the laundry room drain pipe had broken and was leaking into the crawl space. It caused the joists to rot under the laundry room, living room and kitchen. The house also has 50 years worth of wear and tear. Mark basically demolished everything that was was in bad shape and rebuilt it. The areas where Mark did the work, look brand new. A 1961 house now looks like a 2012 house. Mark is very detailed. He does quality work. As with any large renovation on an old house, you are going to run into problems. There was no problem encountered on this job that Mark was not able to solve. I was well pleased with the end result. Overall I'd say if you are just looking for a quick, cheap fix - look elsewhere. Mark is going to do a quality job. Doing quality work takes both time and effort. What I received was an exceptional quality job at a very fair price.
Description of Work: Removed floor, subfloor, and joists from the kitchen, living room, and laundry room. Installed new joists, subfloors and flooring in all three. Demolished existing patio room, installed new screened in patio. Removed existing 1961 paneled kitchen. Installed drywall and new flooring. Moved laundry hookups from one side of the laundry room to the other to improve functionality. Installed new attic door access. Installed french doors between kitchen and patio room. Installed new doors in kitchen, laundry room, and new exterior entrance door and storm door to side of the house. Painted all rooms to specifications. Also did several minor repairs such as fixed dripping exterior faucet, bedroom door that wouldn't shut properly, etc.

+ 1 moreWe contacted Mark to get an estimate and schedule our projects. We were honestly SHOCKED at the price. We did the entire project, including the cost of the doors, for under $1000. As much as price is important, the quality still needs to be there. It's the fit and finish, that makes or breaks a project. Mark did a wonderful job. Was very punctual and communicated his schedule very well. He has a great demeanor and personality, as well. He was pretty busy when we contacted him, so our project got started about 3 weeks later then we wanted, BUT, this is just a testament to how in demand his services are. Let me clarify...Mark arrived on schedule and ready to go, exactly when he said he would, so he wasn't late, but finishing other projects. My wife called him a few times to ensure we were on track. We signed a contract and gave a deposit on a Sunday. Mark arrived Monday morning with materials and started the project on a Tuesday morning around the time he said we'd be at our house. Within a few days the wall was up and drywalled and the joint compound was curing. He spent his time alternating between the wall project and window project, so he could mud, sand and paint those projects at the same time. He finished on Saturday and it looks amazing. The wall looks like it was was built with the house and the windows are covered and painted and ready for cabinets to be installed. The only minor comment I'd make is to make sure you contact Mark, get a contract signed and get your project scheduled. We didn't do that, and it cost us a few weeks. He's busy, but well worth the wait!! We have a few more projects (bathroom and kitchen remodel) that we'll definitely use Mark for, again!!
Description of Work: We had 2 projects we wanted Mark to complete:1) Add a 12' wall to an existing bonus room, to make it our master bedroom. The wall also needed to have a set of double doors installed, in the middle of them. This project involved; removing the existing baseboards, framing, insulating and drywalling the new wall, hanging the door, cutting/drilling the door to add the lock-set, adding and matching the baseboard trim, painting the finished wall and door to match the existing wall colors and material/sight cleanup. 2) Enclose 2 windows in our kitchen, as we're having more kitchen cabinets added, by our cabinet company. We're going to eventually expand our kitchen, so we didn't have the existing windows removed, but just covered over flush, so cabinets could be installed. This project involved: removing the existing window casing and trim, covering the windows with drywall and painting the finished wall.

+ 6 moreOverall, I would have Mark do or oversee anything I need to have done to my home. He is very particular and respects your home as if it were his. He will not mis lead you....Mark gives you honest insight to save you money or will assure that projects that you want to do will bring return of investment.
Description of Work: Mark has completed several projects for us and I have a few more that will have him come back to complete. His most recent project was to install a wall unit in a bonus room that he drew the design and completed. It included a media cabinet including space for 60" TV along with components. He came up with a unique way to hide components and also had to set up areas for cords and install cable and electrical outlets. In the wall unit he added a desk area for computer. In this same room he opened up an area for attic storage installing matching doors with a metal overlay. Layed laminant flooring that looks great. He also romoved spindled banister installed half wall with column to make safer for small children. Painted the room and wall unit installed trim and then for the stairs leading up to the room he installed new stair caps and stained them to match laminate flooring....the stairs had been carpeted prior. The room is great and he really took the concept and made it everything we discussed. I work and could trust Mark to come in to my home every day without any issues. It amazed me that when I would get home everything was clean and neat. Before this project we had Mark do several projects for us which included painting our kitchen cabinets and bathroom. He had to move a cabinet to install a microwave over our cook top and then added a drawer. He also replaced out dated hardware. Mark replaced grout for tile flooring that had cracked in bathroom and laundry room. On the outside we had asked him to fence in a section of our backyard so we could put yard equipment in an area it was out of sight...all of these projects were completed and look fantastic. We had had water damage from an upstairs HVAC unit leaking, again he did a great job getting this taken care of
