First of all, it's great that you can call Todd directly and not have to go through any sort of hotline to get someone to come out. I had a large stump (3 ft wide x 5 ft tall) and a large overgrown weedy bush to remove. Todd arrived with his crew and knocked out the job in under an hour. They removed everything, ground it all up, and took great care of my yard as well as my neighbor's driveway directly adjacent. I would recommend them to others and use again if needed in the future.

Todd picked up the phone immediately. I told him what the problem was and he was at my house within 1 hour -- Amazing. He assessed the work, gave me a price and performed the services as discussed. Really glad I found him on Angies List -- have already scheduled my next job with him! A true professional.

Arrived on time, did an excellent job on each tree. One required little trimming, one needed shaping, and the third required serious trim to avoid other trees and open up lawn more. Cleaned up after the job

Todd and his crew were awesome! They were exactly on time and did a beautiful job! Not only was the tree trimming great, they did a thorough job of raking up. Also, they went to great pains not to mess up my landscaping. My neighbors were so impressed, 2 of them hired him to do work for them while he was here.

We have been neglecting a dying red bud tree and two very large trees in our back yard for too long. Every time we would get storms and strong winds I would be concerned that branches from the large trees would fall on the house. We also had a neighbor's small tree growing branches through our fence. Davis Tree Service to the rescue! Todd showed up for the estimate appointment and we liked him immediately. He listened carefully to all of our concerns and answered all of our questions. He offered suggestions on how to make the trimming/removal process better and made extensive notes. The following week, Todd's crew showed up right on time. I like the fact that Todd was there to show them in person everything that we needed to have done. The crew did an excellent job! They were all so nice, professional, and respectful of our space. They cleaned up the yard beautifully. Our trees look great and the back yard even looks larger now. I don't know why we didn't call them years ago. I highly, highly recommend them.

Todd and his crew cut down a crepe myrtle and a fir and ground the stumps. We also had them grind two stumps left over from some large bushes that we cut down the previous year. They were scheduled to arrive at 10am on a Saturday and they did. It only took them about 45 minutes to do all the work and clean up. We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Todd and his team showed up early for service by a few hours, and set to the task we had talked about before I even arrived. He and his team knew exactly what needed to be done, made sure that nothing in my yard would be put at risk, and expertly dropped the tree and ground the stump. They even worked with a hidden metal rod that the tree had grown around and we didn't know existed. In shot, they did what i expected, and there were no surprises - exactly what you want from someone who comes to do service. I have no hesitation recommending Davis tree service!

One tree was over some wires and over the roof. They knew what they were doing. They cleaned picked up the limbs and were in and out in no time.

I couldn't get Davey Tree service (a different company) to answer my calls or come to remove the tree over a 3 month period. Then I called Todd Davis and he came out the next day, on his day off. He gave me an estimate that evening as promised and immediately put me on his next open date. The crew showed up right on time. They had the tree down and chopped within 2 hours. I had two very difficult trees to climb and they handled it very well. I forgot to ask for stump grinding on the estimate, so I may have them come back and do that.

Todd Davis does excellent work for both removal of trees as well as stump grinding. I have used many vendors over the years for both myself and clients. He is a man of integrity for both a professional job being completed to the customers satisfaction as well as offering a very fair price for services rendered. If you can get on Todd Davis' calendar for tree trimming, removal and/or stump grinding, you too will be as satisfied as I and my clients have been on several jobs we have hired him for over the last one and a half years. He has done work for me on various properties this year alone, and this latest job on Friday September 11th proved no different than the previous jobs-totally professionally done at a real fair price. I will continue to use Davis Tree Service, and in fact he will be doing a job for one of my clients this next week, who was originally referred to Todd by me over a year ago and has had numerous jobs done by Davis Tree Service as well. The only problem I see in giving Davis Tree Service the good recommendations that he deserves is that he will probably get overwhelmed with new business which may delay my getting on an earlier calendar with him for my next job. This though, I can live with as he does a professional job at a fair price and his team of workers are professional and clean up after the tree and stumps are removed. The Davis Tree Service crew showed up early to set up and finished much sooner than we anticipated. They were here and gone in less than 2 hours. In addition to promptness and hustle, they are personable, highly professional and they cleaned up every trace. Even better, they are really reasonably priced. Could not recommend this service more highly. They did an outstanding job!

I originally called on a Saturday morning hoping that I might get work done over the weekend. It was advertised on Angie's list that they did emergency work. When I hadn't heard back from them by Monday, I called again. Todd came out immediately to assess the work. He gave me several options and prices and was very knowledgeable. He did say that he would be back that day to take care of the most critical work. However, he did not return that day, but called to say he was delayed by another job and would try to come the next day. He and his crew did come the next day and did a great job of cutting away the fallen branches and topping it so that it still has a nice shape. They also did a nice job of cleaning up the fallen branches.

Todd came out right away and gave us a free and fair appraisal. The tree was in a tricky spot. It leaned over into our neighbor's yard and was in a flower bed area. Couldn't be accessed from our property but our neighbor gave permission for access from their driveway. The large crew got here early on removal day. They got started right away. Todd immediately ground the extra stump, deep enough so that I could even plant flowers in that area if I wanted to. It was quick and done very well. After removing several lower branches from the tree, the tree was cut, section by section, being very careful not to damage anything in the bed below it. One of the crew even removed my neighbors bat house that was on a 20 foot pole, so it would not be damaged. It was amazing to see how such huge branches, secured with rope, were dropped slowly and carefully to the ground so that they could be put through the chipper. Everyone worked together and seemed to have a very good system, as it seemed as if no one had to talk at all. When the trunk, which was huge, was taken down, I asked Todd if he could sell any of the wood. He told me that they would keep it around, to help others in the Fall and Winter to keep warm if they could not afford logs. So happy that he would put them to such a worthy cause. The stump from that tree was removed and then the crew cleaned up the yard and you would not have even known they were ever there! Of course the big empty spot where there was once a huge tree, gave it away! I cannot say enough about this entire experience. Todd and his crew were extremely professional, and you could see that they all took pride in their work. His price was more than fair. Fine people, each and every one of the crew, and I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to someone who needed their services.

Mr. Davis was a very professional provider. He came a week before and gave a written bid and wrote down what we wanted done in the one acre yard with over 30 trees. He came back on the scheduled day and even requested to come early by phone call which was great. He and his men proceeded to do the work outlined in the bid. His men were very nice and thorough. They cleaned up after the work was done which included raking and picking up any stray leaves/small branches. We were very satisfied and gave the men a tip for doing their job so well via Mr. Davis. I would recommend them for any tree service jobs.

Todd was super professional from the first meeting through the tree removal. He was prompt on our first meeting to give me an estimate, and called on the day we had set for the removal to see if he could come by a little earlier. He and his crew removed the tree quickly, did a fantastic job of clean up, and was gone in 45 minutes. His cost estimate was more than reasonable, and below another quote I had received. I would recommend Todd, and Davis Tree Service, without any reservation at all.

Absolutely the best! I called 3 tree trimming maintenance services that I found on Angie's list. I could tell one was not interested because it was not a " big enough " high paying job. The second never listened to what I wanted done and made recommendations without one paying attention to what I specifically said I wanted them to do. Davis was the best. From now on they are who I will call for any tree work on my property. Also the bill was 125.00------ i paid 150.00---------that's how happy I was!

Wow! Showed up exactly on time to give me an estimate. Very professional. I agreed to the job and we set a date/time for the work to be done. Crew and equipment showed up exactly on time and did the work. When they left everything was cleaned up. Couldn't be more impressed. Highly recommended.

I got two estimates for the work. Both were very similar in price although Davis Tree Service was slightly lower. I chose to use this company because of their friendliness, courtesy and professionalism. We set a date to have the tree removed and when the day came we had extremely cold temperatures and the ground was very wet. Todd called me that morning to tell me that the conditions were not good for removing the tree. He said he would try the next day. The next day was cold as well but Todd came out and removed the tree, ground the stump and did such a good job that I couldn't even tell where the tree had been. I was very impressed with this service and would highly recommend.

Todd is a super nice guy and very easy to work with. His team showed up promptly on the day of service and quickly removed 4-5 large branches hanging over my driveway and the front yard. They did a great job of clean-up as well. We are very pleased.

Mr. Davis returned all my calls promptly. He came out and gave me an estimate and discussed how he thought it would be best to handle the two trees. On the day that we had scheduled, Mr. Davis and his crew were ready to go at time we had scheduled. The work was done and the area cleaned up in less than an hour. They were very nice and professional. I will definitely use them again if needed.
