Description of Work: The contractor was hired due to some pooling on our back patio. He said it was due to poor fill when the house was constructed and I have no reason to doubt this. He initially scaled the project and provided one quote but when he did the job, he did not replace an area of about 3 x 15 feet. The size of slab had six edges. Four of the edges were not finished with an edging trowel and had no appearance of being finished with an edging trowel. Two edges did. I called him on this and he said he informed me that I had no idea what I was talking about and that if he finished it to my request he would not warranty his work. He continued to reemphasize that he works on multimillion dollar homes and I had no idea what i wanted nor did I have a right to my opinion what good looked like. That's when he hung up on me. | |I do know that those edges that were not finished had the concrete caked up onto the surrounding decorative brick edging and the house. I wish I could add photos to this narrative. | |I built my house 16 yrs ago, I've added 2 bed rooms, a bath room, and renovated 2 bathrooms. The house is 6 BD rooms and 5600 sq ft. Over the years I've worked with a lot of contractors. This guy was the worse.

Anthony Galardi is an honest stone/brick/concrete contractor. We were selling our house in Thompson's Station in July 2013 and had some repairs. He replaced broken bricks over an exterior door, and mixed the concrete grout to match exactly - in a 14 year old house. Total bricks replaced - about 10. He also repaired bricks over the garage. Again, mixing perfectly to match. He then fixed some steps on the walkway to the front door where there were missing bricks. We found some bricks under the house and he made it look like it was never missing. He has a daily rate for things like this and worked within our schedule of showing the house to get the work done. Work lasted one full day.

I feel like this company has done a wonderful job. They have provided great new ideas for the work I wanted done. They always insist on perfection in everything they are doing. I am more than pleased with the service and professionalism. I had to add and change things on the project and it was not a problem for them. After other companies quoted higher prices and more time, this company gave me the best price and said it would take them about 3 weeks, which is exactly how long it will be.
Description of Work: I had Anthony Galardi Masonry re-do a retaining wall, rip out old decking, and concrete. They are pouring all new decking around the pool and building a waterfall. They are laying new flagstone and building 2 different sun decks. I am not sure about dimensions but it is a large in ground pool and a lot of area off the house.
