Here's what he wrote on invoice: customer called and said that they had possibly had a leak under the house because of water around the front and side of house. Crowded under house and 1/2 of the under the house had about 2 to 4 inches of water. There was no water line nor sewer line leaking. Found A/C drain running back under house. He then said they could fix this - gave estimate of 650.00 for the job - we said that we should have our A/C man look at it before we spent so much money. Our A/C man came (charged 85.00 svc chg) and drew a diagram of how we ourselves could fix - cost of supplies less than 100.00 - we are an 65 and 68 years old and are on a fixed income - 275.00 is a lot of money and to make matters worse - we didn't even get our and quot;Angie's list member coupon of 10% off up to $25and quot; for Angie's list members, which I told him about before they left We realize that they had to drive a long distance to our house but we think 275.00 is a pretty hefty service charge. So, no we will never call on this business again 10/21/13 My husband called them to remind about the discount and they said to take it off.

We noticed a leak in our bathroom and they diagnosed the problem and fixed it. They also checked our other bathrooms and noticed a problem in one that could cause a problem in the future and repaired it.

$100 per HOUR seems very expensive. Also, service call of $60 seems high as they're only about 10 minutes away. Very punctual. They did NOT like receiving email request for services via Angies List.

Mike and Brian Culver are super good guys to work with! I've had them out a couple of times in the last few months (different issues). They are prompt to return phone calls. There's scarcely any lag between when I call and when they're out to do the work. In fact, the longest I had to wait for them to come out was a day and that was because of my work schedule, and one time, they were at my place barely fifteen minutes after I hung up the phone. They stand by their work, leave everything very tidy, and will explain what they're doing in language the uninitiated can understand. I can't ask for more than that, which is why they're now my "go-to" plumbers.

I called Culver and Sons and they were at my home in less than 45 minutes; another 45 minutes and the installation was complete. They were professional and competent. They cleaned up what little mess they had made.
