They were very backed up and we waited for months but we took it as a sign they were high demand and must do great work. They did and were very fast. They had a huge crew and they all worked very hard and efficiently. Two trees were very close to power lines right next to the house and one had a power line through the middle of two large branches(one hanging over the house). Pleased with the work and pricing.

They have done several jobs for us and we are always happy with the outcome. They are a pleasure to work with. We are currently working on a new job where they will be planting some new trees for us. The best thing about them is that they bring all the guys and get it done--no messing around. Thanks Chris and Allen!

Great Job! This company was extremely responsive- reasonable- on time exactly when they said they would be out. They called the day prior so I could schedule the dog to be out of the backyard. They cleaned up their mess and even trimmed shrubs/bushes away from my privacy fence so I could walk around it. I did not ask for this to be done, but they pitched in a little extra service. This was the 2nd time I have used this firm and I will continue to use their services. I would highly recommend LH Lewis Tree Service! Lisa and Jim Stanley

Chris and his crew of six showed up right on time and got to work immediately. They were very professional and took great care to not damage anything on our property. They brought a large amount of equipment to get the job done quiclkly and cleaned up eveything well before leaving. Great job - we could not be happier with their service!!

Called for an estimate the morning of February 17, 2014. The estimator arrived that afternoon and quoted $125 to remove one large stump. I told him to get it done as soon as possible. Later I called the company to confirm I wanted them to do the work and was told they could squeeze it in that Friday, Feb 21. Friday came and went - no show. They called the following Tuesday and told me they could do it Friday, Feb 28. Another no show. Finally showed up Thursday morning, March 6 unannounced. Fortunately I am retired and almost always home. As he was unloading the stump grinder he offered to remove a second large stump and a very small one for another $50. I agreed to the extra work and the extra cost. Driving the grinder to the first stump he encountered another large stump, already mostly rotted, and paused to grind it away at no extra charge. Three large stumps, about 30and quot; diameter, and one small one, about 8and quot; diameter, gone in an hour for $175. Totally pleased with their service if not their punctuality.

They cut over a dozen trees, ground all the stumps and shredded all the limbs. They left me all the chips to use as mulch in the future. They cleaned up the area and blew off the drive and street. Great Job!!

L H Lewis exceeded my expectations. Started promptly as scheduled , finished that day, cleanup was complete.They brought all equipment that was needed- crane, bucket truck, stump grinder. Crew was hardworking and professional.I have been bidding this job for a few years, was completely satisfied with the project.

remove my stump. they did a beautiful job. I must have called a dozen tree services to remove my stump before I called Lewis. Some never showed up, some never returned my phone call to give me an estimate, some quoted such a high price I couldn't afford it,some told me it wasn't worth their while to come out just to do a stump. C.H Lewis, on the other hand, called me back immediately, sent someone that very day to give me an estimate and quoted a very reasonable price. then they showed up to do the job precisely when they said they would, just a few days later, and did a beautiful job. I would recommend them to anyone. Even their receptionist was extra nice!

They use to live across the street from me. I knew them personally, and they got back to me quickly. They were very professional. They took the trees down, ground up the stumps, and hauled everything off. I have used them more than once, and they did a really great job. I would highly recommend them. They are super nice, and they charge a really good price. I haven't had any problems. I would use them again.

This is the second time we've used L.H. Lewis Tree Service. I called them last Thursday and Allen came out and did the estimate within 2 hours of when I called. Then, he had a crew on site later in the day to do the work. They did exactly what we needed done at a reasonable cost. I'd use them again without question and would recommend them to anyone.

A co-worker recommended this company. He had used them on more than one occasion. We called for an estimate and two representatives showed up within about an hour. They were professional and knowledgable. The job was completed one day the following week while we were at work. We were very pleased with the work that was done and will definitely use L. H. Lewis Tree Service in the future.

The work crew was punctual, professional and safety conscious. I interviewed 15 tree services, with estimates ranging from $1250-7000. For me there were two selling points in choosing L H Lewis Tree Service; (1) I believe the estimate was very reasonable. (2) Allen Lewis was the ONLY expert to give me great education and insight into recognizing the health of the trees themselves. This is valuable information for future tree management. I would recommend a little improvement in the office management's timeliness of providing estimate and insurance info. Overall I was glad I took my time and selected L H Lewis Tree Service.

Fast, friendly, delivered as promised. Got several estimates to have some trees cut down and 3 others cut back off my roof prior to getting a new roof put on the house. Lewis was not the least expensive but I was very impressed with his knowledge of trees, what I had, and his advice on what he would keep and get rid of. It amazed me that of the 3 estimates I received he was the only one that new the types of trees I had...seems like a tree service should know what they are cutting down. I had he put the trees on the ground and cut them into pieces I could handle as the cost to remove is as expensive as getting them cut down! I as very pleased with the quality of the work and his people and would use them again and recommed to others.

They showed up with plenty of help, trucks and all that was needed. They did their job, cleaned-up and left.

They were very good and they did quite well. I would refer them to others and would use them in the future, if necessary.

Mr Lewis arrive exactly as I was told. He did a great job.

We got a call one day before that our work was scheduled-no problem because we were at home. We were amazed at the number of men and the amount of equipment that showed up to do our work--without a break, it took approx. 4 hours to complete. Trees were cut down, trees by the power lines were thinned, stumps were ground, and a bobcat was used to push it all down to create a berm to help with erosion. No time was wasted. The workmen cleaned up the entire area with hand rakes and the final product was better than I expected. All communications were courteous and professional.

Contacted the company by phone. Set up time for estimate. They rescheduled it once. They came out and gave estimate with options. They were very friendly. They told me it might be at least 2 weeks before they could do the work and this was fine with me. About 2 weeks later, I received a call at 7:30 AM to tell me they were on the way. I was at home so this was fine, however there was no notice or appointment made in advance. A large crew came out and went right to work. I walked around with the main contact to ensure they knew what to trim/cut. They worked hard, used safety equipment and were very polite and professional. I would recommend this company.

The person giving the estimate was very friendly and explained in detail the options I had. The crew showed up and did a wonderful job. They dropped limbs with accuracy, missing power lines, flowers, and shrubs.

I cannot comment on their actual ability to do tree work, only on the fact that they did not show up to do the work on the day agreed.
