+ -1 more|All his workers were pleasant and effective. In spite of bad weather and delays, we were not inconvenienced. Communication was good.
Description of Work: Glassed in a small, roofed porch about four feet off ground level with attractive painted wood framing to match the living room, added a small landing, changed some brick steps,covered over a concrete floor with stone, added electrical outlets, changed doors to the outside, removed a section of wall separating the porch from the living room, for $10,000 less than the bid offered by a local heavily advertised business.

+ -1 moreShowed up on time to start. Stripped down to studs and reset plumbing and electricity. Set tile for walk-in shower and floor. Set in new cabinets and shelving and added granite counter and trim in bath. Took about 2 weeks longer than anticipated due to delay in getting painter in to do finish work. There were a couple off issues with tile but these were taken care of with utmost care!! In all we are pleased and happy with work done and would use George on future work.
Description of Work: Remodel of full and 1/2 bath. Strip to studs and rework rooms. Tile, Paint, and crown moulding. Replace everything floor to ceiling. All new fixtures and replace all tile work!!

+ -1 moreHe did a fabulous job. Him and his whole crew were positive and well mannered. They were great, treat you like family They did a lot of little things to improve the house. They made a little bathroom bigger. Everything he did was fabulous.
Description of Work: I used George Wright Construction Inc to re-gut my house after the tornado damage.

+ -1 morePoor customer relations. Shoudl have been upfront if he had to much business so I could have made other arrangements with other contractors.
Description of Work: Called George and made arrangment for us to meet and get an estimate for addition to a new home. Was needing a new driveway and garage addition 18 X 36 and was going to meet on a Friday. Never showed or called to state he was late or make arrangemnts for another visit. I called and talked to his office the following week and discussed what had happened of the no show. I also left my number for us to make another appointment and he never called back also.

+ 0 moreAfter eyeballing the needed work, Mr. Wright presented a very vague proposal for the work (such as "replace roof, $8250"). On the other hand, the proposal had very specific contractual terms that protected him in every conceivable way. For example, if he measured wrong or forgot to include things in his estimate, all the additional costs would be passed on to the customer. Although I hear he does good work, his proposal was not done "wright." I moved on to someone else.

+ -1 moreMake sure you have a clear understanding of his billing practices prior to contracting and require he detail all project cost rather than hours worked.
Description of Work: Renovation of Master bath and adjoining area. My major issue with George was his billing which included costs for re-work his crew caused. He was unable to unbundle these costs so we ended up paying twice for some work. His crew was excellent but the primary person has since left his employee. George does none of the work himself but checks on the job about once a week. There is an on site supervisor but this person could change depending on the work needs of Wright Construction- this was somtimes troublesome.

+ 1 moreThey did an outstanding job. He was quick to provide estimates and quick to get the job done. He had a great, professional team to work with. The quality of the work is excellent. Since then, I have contacted them to get estimates on our new location, but I haven't had a response back. But overall, this is a great company to work with.
Description of Work: They did a lot of work outside the home, including installation of a new roof, painting, general construction, etc.
