Coynerstone Hardscapes

Took a few weeks and several rescheduled appointments to get Keith to come look at the project that I needed (walkway and porch). After he finally came to look at it, it took quite a few weeks longer to get the quote than he had initially said (and that was only after I called, texted, and emailed multiple times asking about the quote). Keith's quote was among the lowest bids that I received, he was a nice guy, and seemed to get positive reviews from a local stone supplier, so I hired him for the job. He told me he could get to the job "the week after next" and we even communicated back and forth when picking out the particular landscaping paver that we wanted from the supplier. But, Keith did not show up "the week after next" to do the job, he did not return phone calls, text messages, or emails. This went on for well over a month before I figured out that Keith was probably not coming to do the job. Not one time did he attempt to call, email, or text to say he was running behind, that he might be another few weeks, or even that he could no longer do the job. Total silence. After reading other reviews here on Angie's List, this seems to be how Coynerstone conducts their business. I was very disappointed with the unprofessional manner that Keith handled his customer communications. He may actually do great work, but if he won't show up to do the work, his skills as a hardscaper are meaningless. So buyer beware and proceed with caution.

Keith was sometimes difficult to contact when we were in the bidding and planning stages; however, this is understandable considering he does most if not all of the work for his company. Keith's bid was very fair and we received several recommendations from neighbors who had hired Coynerstone in the past so we went with him. Once he got started on our project we were very, very happy with his progress, communication, and the final results. Overall, Keith's work ethic and attention to detail were outstanding. Our back yard turned out much better than we had even hoped for and as a bonus he presented several excellent ideas along the way that took our project from good to great! We now have a useable backyard that our family can enjoy for years and years to come. I would definitely recommend Coynerstone Hardscapes to any of my friends or family.

Coynerstone was the low of three bidders to terrace our hillside. However, when I contacted them to give them the job and schedule the project, they never responded. This was after numerous attempts to reach them by phone, cell phone, texts, and emails. Therefore, I don't know what the issue was, but I went with the next lowest bidder and got a good result.

I had to keep calling them more than once to get them to come out to get a bid. When they did, I had to keep calling them to give me the bid. Would not recommend

See above services performed....I highly recommend Mr. Coyner!! He also added a drain for the wall for water runoff!!
