Took care of aerating our front lawn(don't have any in back). Did core aeration, performed service ahead of expected schedule, left the area clean and ready for seeding.

Having been frustrated with my recent guy who had been mowing my lawn, I called this company. I was able to speak with the owner Corey promptly. I explained to him my concerns that I needed a "quality lawn service" who knew what they were doing and how to cut a yard (trimming, edging, cleaning up, etc.). He assured me that they were the right fit for the job. Having seen their "good" reviews on Angie's, I asked if he could come out and give me a quote. The next day Corey came out, and called with a quote of $75. I was paying my previous guy $50, but like i said, his work was below par, so I said let's give it a shot... and reiterated my concern about quality/doing the job right. We scheduled the day, and they arrived as promised. I was at work so I wasn't there when the yard was mowed... but was beyond surprised when I returned. As soon as I pulled in the driveway I spotted 4 large areas the mower missed. Upon further inspection, there was a total of about 8 spots that were missed, and a couple of areas overlooked on the trimming. Actually, my neighbor pulled up around the same time a made the joke "looks like you missed some spots!" proving that he could see them from a distance. Nothing makes me more upset than a half-a**ed job with people rushing to finish as fast as possible, and this clearly was the case. I called Corey and left a message. He returned my call shortly after and I told him about the service. He agreed with me and the following morning came out and "fixed" the job. So, all in all, I probably would have overlooked this, but then the bill arrived... the FULL bill for a pathetic attempt at mowing. Not a pro-rated bill for a bad job, not an apology note, not a follow up phone call, just the full $75 like the job was well done. Unreal! I'm pretty laid back, and like I said, was willing to let it slide being that he came out and fixed it. But to do a pathetic job... then still bill the full price, not so cool.... hence the reason for this review. I found a better service, for cheaper on Angie's, and have been very happy ever since. So, I guess it worked out in the long run, but I wouldn't recommend them, and won't ever use them again.

Did not know what kind of grass we had. If you don't know what kind of grass someone has.....how can you care for it? There are warm season grasses and cool weather grasses. Each has different timing in respect to growth and fertilization needs. That first few moments in my yard was all I wanted to hear!!

They honored the price. The only problem is that they just showed up. We would have preferred if they would have called first. They were polite.

The workers were prompt, worked consistently during the day and cleaned up after the daily work. Cory was easy to work with and responsive to questions. I have additional work already scheduled.

The price was right where I was expecting to pay. I was disappointed with other people I found on craigslist, very undependable. I chose to go with a larger company, blewett, and I'm glad I did. I'd pay $40 just to have my lawn guy show up when he says he is going to, doing a good job is just icing on the cake for me. Happy customer here.

Great responsiveness to initial request for quote; steady, reliable and satisfactory service since engaged at beginning of season...unlike previous providers, doesn't show and mow every week when not warranted so yard isn't scalped (nor is my wallet)!

I made an appointment to get bids from Blewett Lawn & Landscaping on 4 projects at my house in Chattanooga before I drove up from Florida. The appointment was for 9am on July 15th. On the 15th the appointment time of 9am came and went. Then 10am came and went. Finally Blewett called and said that the appointment slipped his mind. He asked to reschedule and I said no. I made an appointment with another landscaper and he showed up on time as was very professional. I am now doing business with him.

He was personable and was very professional. Would recommend them.

Everything from beginning to end was a great experience. It was a pleasure meeting Cory. He is very professional and friendly. Cory was attentive to staying in touch with us and keeping us informed. They showed up on time when they said they would show up and completed all of the work.

Good except I needed more than the coupon would cover so paid extra over coupon value. No complaints though. I have a lot of beds.

I purchased 4 hours of labor for $149 as part of the Big Deal offer. The service provider rendered 1 hour of service but not the remainder. Thus, I'm requesting a partial refund of $111.75 for the 3 unused hours.

I received the proposal or invoice, not knowing what to expect or what was reasonable. But the deal promised a computer generated design and consultations with drawings. Neither of which I received. I'm a rather visual type person, and what had really caught my eye before purchasing this deal was the drawings etc. I can't complain about Mr. Blewett, who was very cordial and seemed very honest. I just think the ad was a bit misleading. Especially when it refers to outdoor kitchens, fire pits and pergola's, and Mr. Blewett wasn't familiar with what a pergola was.

Blewett Lawn and Landscape did a great job and left the yard neat and tidy looking. They left as soon as they were finished. I called to tell them they did a great job but next time to please let me know that they are done so I can have a chance to look over their work and address any issues that I might be concerned about. Luckily for me, they did a good job. But I still called their office and suggested that in the future, they should let the homeowner know when they are done and give the owner a chance to look over the work before they drive off. This is the professional way to finish up with a customer. Other than this, they did a great job and I will definitely use them again as long as their prices remain reasonable.

When the payment was made, I received an email asking me to get in touch with the provider. I had given him three dates which didn't seem to be a problem when I purchased the service. When I called the owner, he seemed to balk at the days I wanted them and finally told me he has only one day open. Fine, I took it. Between the time I took it and they were to come, I fell and broke two ribs. So I called to get the time pinned down and he was unhappy about that but finally agreed to being here on Tuesday morning. I had to call him twice to get an answer on the time he would be here as my son had to take off from work to be here to explain the job to him. I even gave the worker a typed up list. My son pointed out everything to him and left. When they finished (exactly 50 mins. later) I walked out to discover not everything had been done and pointed out one area. They quickly jumped out of the truck and weeded that area that had previously been pointed out to him both by me and my son. The next day, I discovered the plants he was to replant to the front, were sitting at least 3inches out of the ground. I also, discovered trim debris from the shrubs was still on the shrubs and some even in my flower pots. And many other areas listed had not been done correctly. When I called the owner to complain, I was informed that he normally gets #137.50 per hour. I explained that I purchased four hours of work; there were two of them here so in my simple mathematical mind, they should have been here two hours....plenty of time to clean up and properly trim the shrubs and plant the flowers! The owner acted like I was tryiing to take advantage of him. He also indicated he wanted his guys in and out because he had another job for them to be on where they would be paid more! I now must hire someone to come back and redo/complete this contract. I would never ever use them again and suggest that you should not buy this service. You won't get what you paid for. It was a sloppy job supposedly done by professional Landscapers!

Great. Very hard working and very willing to do anything I needed done.

As of today, I have not received any correspondence from the provider. I had contacted other providers for prices and plans and heard back from them, promptly. Maybe I am to impatient -- but I feel two weeks without any contact is not "the norm" based on other responses received. At this point I do not need the four hours of work provided. Other arrangements have been made to complete the work I requested.

It was fine. It was $149 for two men, for two hours of labor or one man for four hours. They sent two men and it took them about one hour. So I called the owner and told him they were only here an hour and he said I can have them do other things, so I asked them if they could trim some bushes and they did. The cactuses were really huge and had taken over a very large area, they were unsightly, they were prickly, and hideous looking so I felt like I got my money’s worth. It was a fairly good deal for me. They did what I asked in a timely manner and were very polite.

We purchased two Angie's List Big Deals--one for a yard cleanup and one for a 10 x 10 stone paver patio. They did a nice job on cleaning up the yard, and the patio is an incredible asset--great design and a quality job--we love it. Their communications were spot on and their work was professional and customer focused.

We recently moved to our new house and wanted privacy in our backyard since we have a pool. We received bids from two landscapers. We hired Cory Blewett to do the job. He and his staff were very courteous, punctual and professional. Their price was also reasonable in comparison to the other bidder. They not only planted the 22 trees in our back yard and the shrubs to our front yard, but they also cleaned up the yard nicely, trimmed my other trees/shrubs, and took some huge pieces of wood that the previous owner had left behind. Cory also took the time to teach me how to use our irrigation system. We're happy with the work they did and plan to hire them to do the regular landscaping maintenance.

I have not done anything as far as with their proposal yet. They were fine and professional. If I followed through I think it will be finer. What I've done so far was probably what somebody would do free. I had no issues and they seemed to know what they were doing. I had not got any competitive bids on what they had proposed. They were there within a couple of days.

Everything went well with the evaluation. They estimate was more expensive than we had planned so we decided to put it on back burner for now.
