After posting the previous review, we were contacted by AFS and we came to a mutually agreeable resolution.

Project went great, crew was courteous and professional. Work quality is excellent. They went above and beyond. Thank you Brady Webster, Austin Hitchcox, Clayton Cox, and Charles Pittman.

Austin Davila and John Stepp helped us save our home recently from sinking. You will not find a more trustworthy and honest foundation company. We were very pleased by how professional, thorough, and timely they solved our issue.

Adam, Imauri, and John did a wonderful job in my crawl space. They took a lot of pictures to show me their work. They were very professional and arrived on time. I really appreciate it. Thank you.

Absolutely do not do business with this company. The repair was not performed on time, the crew did not arrive at designated days or times, and the “repair” doesn’t even stop the basement water issues I have. Seemingly, they do the same “repair” for all circumstances, regardless of where the true issues are coming from. $8K+ in repair cost, and completely not worth what I was charged. This is only the tip of the iceberg, Their work crew unplugged my chest freezer that was full of meat, and totally ruined all of the food. This is over $1,000 at purchase price and cost of the freezer itself, let alone te fact that I am going to have to deal with disposing of everything and cleaning the freezer. I am almost two months+ of them agreeing to reimburse me and still nothing. No one wants to take ownership, no one wants to call back, and it takes multiple call attempts just to get someone on the phone that won’t just say “I’ll pass the message along”. Caveat emptor

If you’re looking for work done the right way. AFS is who to call. I had an emergency repair needing done on UTC campus and that day Mike came out and gave a quote and scheduled service that day. And let me tell you when the Mattgican ( Matthew Martin) and the Parrbear ( Parris Houchins) showed up on the job ( exactly when scheduled) they went straight to work and did such a fantastic job explaining what they were doing and why I knew I made the right choice in calling AFS. If half of their employees are as nice and hard working as those guys anyone they send will be top knotch. Fantastic job guys. You made my day a lot better. Great company don’t hesitate to call them. I’d give them 10 stars!!! Won’t be calling anyone else!!

I can only say from a customer service and appointment setting standpoint I would not use this company. We made an appointment and I was very clear about the date I could do it as I was traveling. They had indicated we would get a email confirmation which we did not. At the appointed time, I called the company and was told they had scheduled the appointment for the next week. I then was transferred to a rep who state she was looking at her notes and they indicated the following week. I knew for a fact due to the whole conversation around my travel date that was not what I had agreed to but the rep basically became combative with me and at that point I just cancelled the appointment all together. If you can't do your follow up email that you indicated you would do (because had you done it we would have seen the error earlier) or even get the initial appt correct , I am certainly not going to trust you with what could be an expensive service!

We had 14 piers put in, in August of 2022. The experienced was not pleasant. We are worse than before when it comes to the house. Brandon the salesman will tell you whatever to get you to sign the contract. and will even threaten you to get payment whether or not you are stratified with their work. The crew was not experienced enough to be on their own. left a sink in hole in my front yard, right infront of my front door, for over 2 weeks. Now where piers were put in my concrete , there is a Crack all along between the wall and floor and now water comes under the house thur the Crack But that's not even the reason why we feel lied to, taken advantage of, and violated. George came out this past Wednesday to look at our concerns. First of all he only found 13 piers, we paid for 14. Then he proceeded to tell us that the piers are the reason for all the excess water coming up from under the house. Since they dug to put the piers in, they loosened up the dirt. now water fills up where they dug and is coming up under the house. Which is now causing mold when we never had a mold problem. There was a slight issue with underground water coming up from under the house but not bad enough to cause mold. If we would had known this prior to getting the piers NO WAY IN H***, would we had gotten the piers. We were not told this, at all. So now to fix that problem so my son and I don't breath in mold, cause 50% of the air in a house comes from the crawl space. They are telling us 55000 to fix the problem. When there was no mold problem until they installed their piers. We already spent 25000 and didn't get what we were told . They have created more issues than there were and not to mention, my son and I have breathing issues and the mold we now have is effecting our health. YOU PEOPLE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES FOR CONDUCTONG BUSINESS LIKE THIS. THIS ISNT A BUSIBESS BUT MORE LIKE A CON. i will be writing reviews everywhere I find your name.

I have had AFS come 6 times to fix their issues on ONE JOB. Each time I’ve had to take off work to allow them to do their thing. 6 times, and the funniest thing they are going to be scheduled to come back a 7th! -The first visit I paid a large amount to have 3 push piers installed at my residence. The installers, Alberto and crew changed locations of the piers by decision on the fly during install. I suppose that negates the need for the foundation specialist that originally came. Already on the first visit I’m raising an eyebrow. -For the second visit I had this crew concrete a large crack they opened up in the floor with a sledge hammer, and cut down some untidy threads they left long on the brackets poking out of the ground on the outside of the house. -3rd visit was when I noticed settling in the doors directly above the repair, and the brick mortar was cracking again after I had it redone. I called AFS to check the settling. They made reference marks on the wall and said they would return to see if it moved. They didn’t never came back. -4th visit approximately a year later I call to ask for someone to come look at the reference marks since no one ever did and they send a guy out. He says that based on the laser level that it looks like there is a slight drop but he feels like the reference marks are just wrong, he tries to convince me we should do reference marks again. I stand my ground and say we need to talk to a manager and stand behind their “reference system”. This is where I meet (via phone call) Brandon, the service manager. -5th visit. Brandon has agreed there is potentially an issue and agrees to add an additional push pier to spread the load and better support the area of wall in question. I’m happy. They install an additional pier next to the faulty one. During the installation the lovely crew finds that the initial pier that was installed wasn’t supported sufficiently, it never hit anything that would allow it to correct my issue from the very first visit. Unfortunately they only find this out at the end of the day so they are scheduled to return to fix it. -6th visit. AFS workers show up to a**** why the initial pier isn’t supporting the foundation. They remove the support and 1 rod about 2ft in length is pulled out of the ground. After some issues we get to pressing in new rods to find load bearing strata. THEY INSTALLED APPROX 30 MORE FEET OF PIERS! that means they were approx 30 from where suppose to be. That means Alberto, one of the best I am told, didn’t do his job and installed 30+ feet short of what he needed to do to support my home. Instead he installed 2’. Okay, now some frustration sets in. -7th visit. Now that I know this… I’m left with 2 more push piers that were initially installed. I have no idea if the crew did a lipstick job and just made it look done or actually did something for the thousands and thousands I paid. So… they’ll be coming back out. While I take another day off of work and loose money to watch over them and see if they did what they should have. I’m very curious how they have any sort of a decent review…. Because I have lost tons of time and money dealing with this.

Their salesperson, Todd Van D*** was very honest and knowledgeable. He did a very thorough exam of our foundation and gave us an honest answer as to the best way to proceed and alternatives to that primary option. He patiently listened to all our questions and worked with us to come to the best solution for our situation. Looking forward to the work being done and having the peace of mind to know it's completed well. Thank you, Todd! To do the work we had Mike T., Brady W., and Chris S. They all three were very polite and professional. Mike explained everything they were doing and answered all of my questions. They worked really hard installing supports and sistering joists as well as putting down a vapor barrier. Mike stayed in the house and made sure things were going back to level while Chris and Brady made adjustments underneath the house. they cleaned up when they were done, and they cleaned up their workspace so well that you couldn't tell they were even there. We also have peace of mind knowing that we have a service plan with them so that if something goes wrong, AFS will be there for us. Definitely check AFS out for all of your foundation needs. I'm glad we did!!

Their product is good. My problem is with the door they installed. I looks terrible/cheap, small hinges and about 8 latches. I will not close properly. I have reached out to them and they will send someone out but refuse to fix it or refund the cost of the door so I can install a functioning door. They are about double the cost of their competitors as well. So I would expect a better product and service. Be warned. Look around and get multiple quotes. Extremely disapointed. Also they left all the expanding foam insulation exposed.

Our problem was that our 500 sqft crawl space would collect water after heavy rains. The insulation was sagging and mold was developing on the wood. I contacted AFS and another company to compare bids. I chose AFS over the competitor for two reasons. 1. The sales rep Austin (with AFS), actually crawled through the entire crawl space and took pictures. The competitor did not. Austin then went through the pictures and discussed the problems we were having and suggested we add a drainage system and encapsulate the area. I told Austin that I was looking at another company to compare work and bids and would let him know by the end of the week. There was absolutely no sales pressure. Austin told me he understood and to take my time. The other company said it would be a 3-4 day job and Austin said it would be a 2 day job. 2. Both companies said they would deal with the mold. The other company would use some sort of gas to kill the mold. AFS said they use baking soda to actually blast away the mold off the wood, and then spray it with an environmentally safe solution to keep the mold from returning. Both companies would add a dehumidifier. The pricing for both companies was comparable. Primarily for the reasons above, I chose to go with AFS as I felt their presentation was much better and I liked their approach to deal with the mold. I did tell Austin that I was very skeptical because of how low the crawl space was. He assured me they’ve worked in smaller spaces but I was still skeptical. I emailed Austin a couple of times with some questions and he was always quick to reply with answers and even sent me the pictures he had taken when I asked for copies. As to job performance, Adam, LaMarcus, KeAndre, and Zach did an excellent job both days. Adam called me each day to let me know they were on the way and they always on time. The team was very professional and courteous. Each day they made sure the work area was cleaned up. In talking with a couple of the guys I learned that they have actually worked in spaces tighter than mine which helped alleviate my skepticism. The team was very friendly and freely answered any questions I had about what they were doing. They stayed focused on the job and had completed the entire work by 2pm the second day. I crawled in the space to inspect the work and found a clean crawl space encapsulated just as Austin had described in his presentation. Adam said when he turned on the dehumidifier it read approx. 85%. By the time I left the crawl space it was down to approx. 77%. We also tested the sump pump. Needless to say, I’m no longer skeptical. Everything I was told would be done was completed. I rarely write reviews but AFS deserves this one.

Levi Reed, Josh P. and John W. were very polite and professional. The communication was great. They explained what they did and answered any questions we had. They installed sister joists with floor jacks to stabilize the flooring.

This company was very organized from estimate to installation. The men they sent to complete the job: Caleb Haywood, Christian Garcia and Noah Jones were AWESOME. They worked on our job for a long time and they were professional from the minute they got here to the minute they left. They encapsulated our crawl space and it looks so so good. They cleaned up the yard and everything so well there was not even a tiny piece of material left. We would recommend the company and these installers to anyone which is rare anymore! Great job guys … thank you.

Excellent work by this crew (Brandon Holliday, John Stepp, and Jacob Wright). They were on time. They respected my concerns about my septic field lines and the possibility that there my main water line was in the area where they were working. They kept me informed of what they were doing as the job progressed. They answered my questions and were very respectful while answering. They cleaned up the work area when they were done and even put down grass seed and hay over the area. Would highly recommend this company and in particular this crew for any foundation work you need done.

They were thorough about the information we needed to know to make a quality decision. They did just what they said they would.

I casted a huge net and got quotes from a lot of companies. AFS sent Eric out to give me a estimate. With in minutes I knew this guy was smarter than the average bear. Some other companies were only there 5 min. This guy clearly had some sort of engineering back ground. The work order he drew up was exactly what I need done no more no less. The total was about a thousand cheaper than every one else. Then came the work crew. You talk about fast and efficient. These guys had everything laid out, unloaded and started digging with in minutes. The Forman went over the game plan and what to expect. 3 hrs later they were done, my house was back perfect, you couldn’t even tell than had been there. AFS Exceeded my expectations from the top to bottom. I wouldn’t let anyone else touch my house but them.

They arrived on time, in good spirits, ready to work, and got right to it explains things and answering my questions as they worked. An ideal home improvement experience!

Travis went above and beyond to deliver great service. He took pictures of what he saw going on in the crawl space. He patiently and carefully explained those issues to me. He is very knowledgeable. When it’s time to service the dehumidifier next year, I will be sure to ask for him.

Hershel and his two guys jumped in, worked like it was their money. and completed the job !!! These guys are the backbone of the company and give all the non earners a very good name. Hershel and his crew should be compensated for their extremely hard work and dedication to AFS !!! All 3 guys are GREAT guys !!!

Chase Prince is the representative that I worked with. He was very helpful, thoroughly explained the issue and how it would be fixed. Very courteous and professional. Worked with me while I was getting finances worked out. Checked in with me after the work was done to see how things went and if I was satisfied with the work. Jose was the foreman on my project. He saw a potential issue on how the work was going to be done. Recommended a change and got the approval. Extremely thankful to avoid potential issues. Change did not affect the price as contracted. He kept me informed as the project progressed.

We started having issues with our foundation settling. We searched on line for foundation repair companies in our area. We decided to get 3 estimates. Because of their great reviews we called AFS first. Robert Stringfield showed up to explain our issues and gave us an estimate for the job needed. First of all Robert was very polite, professional and knowledgeable about foundation repair. He spent a great deal of time measuring and surveying the issues, causing our foundation to settle. He also found some mold that we were unaware of. He also observed some large cracks in our concrete driveway. After he completed his through inspection, he proceeded to show us the problems we were having by using pictures on his laptop. He then went into great detail explaining how AFS would take care of all of our issues, foundation, mold and driveway. He presented three options that we could choose from. 1. support to stabilize foundation. 2. support to stabilize foundation and install drain system with sump pump. 3. support to stabilize foundation and install drain system with sump pump and totally encapsulate the crawlspace. We chose the third option and decided to have our driveway repaired. AFS does offer low cost financing and a discount for package deals. Also included is a life time warranty, that covers a parts and labor, that is transferable should you sell your house. We also got estimates from RamJack and American Foundation Repair, but because of Robert and the great reviews AFS had, we chose them to do our job. The workers showed up on time and completed our job in five days. Everybody we dealt with at AFS was great! We would highly recommend AFS to get your job done. It was a very expensive job, but gave us the security of knowing it was done right. A rule I have learned over the years: Good work is not cheap. Cheap work is not good.

The salesman was great, scheduling took way too long to call us and schedule, the financing was easy, and the crew that did the job were great! Transferable warranty and reliability of company gave me peace of mind. This is why I chose them even though the price was quite high.
