Heritage Cabinets

We were working with Stone World in Nashville to have some work done on our granite. They recommended Mr. Newby when I mentioned we would be ordering cabinets. I called him and set up an appointment for him to come measure my kitchen and order cabinets. He did not show up at the scheduled time. I called and he said he accidentally put the wrong date in his calendar. He came later that day, measured, showed me catalogs, let me pick my cabinets and then told me he would be calling me within 48 hours with an estimate. After 72 hours and 2 messages from me, he contacted me and told me the price. I mentioned that was higher than I wanted to spend and asked could we change a few finishes to help bring down the price. He said he would work up the drawings and be back with me shortly. I left 3 messages with him over the next 2 weeks and then finally gave up expecting to hear from him and went with another company. Waiting and hunting him down delayed our eventual cabinet order by several weeks. I found the whole encounter (lateness, missing appointments, not calling back, and eventually disappearing) completely unprofessional and I would NOT recommend him to others.
