Hammer Electric has done an incredible job wiring our home. Dave, the owner, was instrumental in helping us maximize our budget and guiding us on the design of our lighting plan. Everyone on Dave's staff is polite and professional. Dave is very reliable and trustworthy! We will absolutely use Hammer again.

It was a horrible experience! Dave Hammer, owner of Hammer Electric broke our most expensive and very favorite chandalier! He immediately told me, as did Tommy Atkins, not to worry about it....he would replace the broken pieces at his expense. The chandalier was only moved from a house on one street, to the next street in the same subdivision. But it was unbelievable how Dave Hammer did this! I could hardly believe my eyes, when I saw him driving the expensive, CRYSTAL chandalier from the old house to the new, still COMPLETELY assembled...in a small bull dozier, or some such small piece of construction equipment!!!! I now know that to do it correctly and to minimize damage, he should have taken all the crystals off, and disassembled it. But, like I said, Dave Hammer told me he would order the broken pieces, and bring them and replace them at no charge to us! I have called him so many times during the past two years...he talked to me a couple of times in the begiinning, and finally did tell me he had ordered them, but since then, he does not even have the courtesy to accept or return my phone calls. We have moved again, and had another very dependable electrician do it this time. I asked him to check where the chandalier was purchased, and see if perhaps they might still have the parts the first guy ordered. They did...so I wanted it fixed badly enough, I again tried to call Dave Hammer at least twice, and our builder three times. The builder said it is absolutely Hammer Electric's responsibility to replace this, and he is aware of this obligation. I finally had to pay for the parts myself...which after picking up what was ordered, still did not replace all the broken or missing pieces. But what I did pay for cost me a total of $874.00 that I NEVER should have had to pay!!! He totally ripped us off, and I say to everyone....BEWARE of this guy! He did not honor what we were told he would do!!! Total Rip-off!!!!! So very disappointed in him! I will NEVER use him again for anything!!!
Description of Work: We purchased a brand new home, which was built by Tommy Atkins in Franklin, TN. We asked him before we moved in, if he could have his electrician move some of our expensive chandaliers from our previous home. He agreed to do this, but we did pay Hammer Electric.
