We provide sales, servicing of all brands and installation of new equipment. We recommend a semi annual preventative maintainence contract to keep your system working at it best.
Installed mini-split late 2016, worked great first year, installed promptly and paid in full. System went out for 2nd time, end of May 2019, new part ordered May 28 and was told 7-10 days from order date to get new part. Part, (which was under warranty), was not recieved and installed until June 19 (20) days from date of order. I called several times during this period to inquire on status of part, always told on order. I'm not sure it would have been installed when it was if I hadn't asked for name of part on order and for copy of the warranty. Guess they surmised I was looking for another company to fix the unit. When parts are not received on time, Superior should contact their clients and advise of the delay, and maybe reduce the price of repair as compensation for the client's inconvience. I have now received a copy of warranty and the company is paid in full for the latest work. If the system goes bad again will have to replace it, and probably use another company.

First guy that came out said it wasn't sealed and that was causing the excess condensation. He put some foil tape up. That cost us $150 and did nothing to fix the problem. When we called to tell them this, they said the owner would come out to take a look and give us a quote. We wanted to make sure this visit wouldn't cost extra and the woman was supposed to check on that and get us on the schedule and call us back but never did. We called a couple days later and verified no cost for the owner giving us a quote, and she finally got us on the schedule. He just came out and spent a few minutes glancing at it, didn't bother to open it up, and said it was probably a cracked drip pan. $250 just to open and close it back up to verify if it is the drip pan. If it is, that goes up to $350. We've already wasted $150 on this company. I'm not about to waste another penny with a company whose owner can't be bothered to properly examine a unit to determine the problem, and expects us to shell out $400 total before we even know if his proposed fix is what's needed.

I called a nice lady at Superior this past Friday on what was the hottest day of the year. She was very kind and said someone would be there in a couple of hours. The owner showed up, discovered a burned up circuit board and had the part with him. He had the problem resolved quickly and was very kind. I will use them again.

Bill is one of the most professional people I have had the pleasure to work with in a long time. He fixed my problem which one would expect but he worked past 5 and there was no overtime charge he wasted no time getting here and wasted no time while here. Great company from the lady who answered the phone, to the gentleman who fixed my A/C unit, to the person who sent me my bill. Very pleased. I thought my bill was reasonable too. I will use them again.
Description of Work: My A/C unit seemed like it was blowing but the air wasn't cold. I called at almost 4:30 and Bill came out right away.

Our home is covered by an AHS home warranty. The upstairs air unit has been serviced by at least 3 contractors in the past year. This time I feel confident that it has been fixed. Bill not only replaced a part that was defective but did a thorough check of the system and explained everything in detail. I was VERY happy that Superior Air Systems was selected to service us for this warranty claim. I have dealt with Mr. Keith for years. We own 3 homes here on Signal Mountain and after years of wonderful experiences with Bill Keith and recent bad experiences with other contractors the warranty company has assigned I would recommend Superior Air Systems to anyone looking for heat and air service.

We arrived home from vacation on a Saturday night on the hottest day on record this year. Upon taking our child to bed, we discovered it was 92 degrees upstairs. We called Superior first thing on Sunday morning. Within a few hours they showed up to determine the problem. My husband was not home when they arrived and they were patient enough to leave and come back so that they could explain and show the problems to him. We decided not to order the new unit until the next day. They gave us a great price and installed the new unit the day after we ordered it. They were great to work with. We would highly recommend.

It was great. Their prices were good and the quality of their work is fantastic. They are prompt and courteous and very professional. They stand behind their work as far as I can tell.

I used this small company on three different occasions for three different requests. The last work whey did was make an airvent smaller so that I could buy standard sized air filters in an older building. They traveled 10 miles to downtown Chattanooga and came twice to rebuild the metal air duct. The cost was $187. They were prompt and the work "looked good" when it was completer. The new sheet metal was very neat. One of the request Superior Air Systems did was put in a wall heater in my sunroom to off set my high electric bills in my home on Signal Mt. I had paid for a hybrid central heating and air unit and Malone had installed a heat pump! My electric bills were more rather less after replacing my old propane unit at a cost of almost $7000. My propane tank had 350 gallons of propane in it was not even connected!!!! After Superior installed my wall unit to my propane tank my electric bills were reduced. The owner of Superior Air Systems always did what he said he would do and more. His pricing was very reasonable. If he could not come when expected his secretary always called. This is a new, small company with a lot of experience and I would trust them over larger companys such as the highly recommended one mentioned above.
Description of Work: 1. Rebuild air vent to smaller size to accodate standard sized air filters in an older building. 2. Install propane wall unit and connect to almost full propane tank. 3. Come on Sunday and do electrical work after severe storm and power outage left me with no airconditioning.

This service was covered under our home warranty and Superior accepted the job. They replaced the actual old unit in a timely manner but what followed was utterly ridiculous. The way we were made to understand it, the unit in the attic had an issue for which a part was needed. After multiple phone calls and multiple excuses as to why the integral part could not be located, our frustration mounted. In addition, Superior would show up at the end of the day each time they were called, not in the least setting any priority on our issue even though it was a long standing issue with their workmanship. To top it off, it was a particularly hot spring, and I was in the third trimester of my pregnancy, so a stifflingly hot upstairs was torturous. My husband confronted the technician, who happened to be the owner, about the multiple delays, excuses and showing up late. The owner frankly told my husband that they "don't make any money on warranty work", so we could draw our own conclusions from there about what kind of priority we were. Despite this, the owner committed to us that he would make this situation right (which at this point had been going on for 4 months and we were stuck with Superior due to the terms of our warranty). But much to our chagrin, the behavior continued and escalated. Finally, we confronted the home warranty company and forced them to dispatch another vendor. The new vendor came out to assess the unit, and the next day the problem was fixed with the part that eluded Superior. It was completely ridiculous that Superior couldn't fix something in 4 months that another company fixed in 2 days. Given the owner's deceptive and unethical behavior, I reported him to the BBB. During that process, you're given the opportunity to review their response to your complaint, and the summary of his ridiculous response went something like "yes this was my responsibility but here are 50 excuses as to why it's not my fault." He even insinuated that he should get points for effort as the attic was "120 degrees". How he knew that, I don't know. And furthermore, you're an HVAC technician, hot attics are a feature of your occupation. Maybe if Superior did the job right the first time, he wouldn't have had to go into our attic multiple times. I think the results with the second HVAC company prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Superior did a poor job, both in workmanship and professional responsibility. To be lied to, multiple times, to our faces by the owner of the company, is unacceptable. We will NEVER use Superior Air Systems again, and strongly advise against anyone else giving them any business.
