+ -1 moreTom did a great job installing the beam and post under my sunroom. Tom did the work himself and was easy to approach with adjustments to the work along the way. He pays special attention to his woodwork by routing and sanding the lumber to give it a smooth finish. The deck gates were also a nice touch and I'm glad I had Tom build them. Pricing was very reasonable in my opinion.
Description of Work: Installed new posts and beam under existing sunroom. Built and installed two deck gates. Installed new joist hangers on existing joist.

+ -1 moreI've seen a lot of decks that people have built but Tom's attention to detail was what caught my eye. All the exposed board edges were routed and sanded. He used premium grade deck boards. The deck is and quot;free standingand quot; in that it is not connected to the house which is great. He laid the deck boards on at an angle--great look. He has been building decks for 20 years and it shows. He works by himself or with one other gentleman so sometimes its slow going but overall a great job.I'm very pleased with my beautiful deck.
Description of Work: After several people gave estimates Tom gave us drawings and three different options of varying prices to take off our old deck and build us a new one--very professional and very detailed.
