Mr Parsons was easy to deal with, and knows his business.  He suggested ways to cut down on costs, yet achieve the desired results.  Prior to Mr Parsons work the property would flood with almost any heavy rain.  Now that he has redug the ditch, and regraded it we have not had any flooding problem.  He was always on time, and did the work in an efficient, totally satisfactory manner.

We had our driveway paved and it left the border areas needing topsoil to even out the space between the driveway edge and the lawn. Our real estate agent recommended Parsons so I called him and at first I just asked him to deliver one load of topsoil at a cost of $85. I thought I could spread it out myself. He came the next day and dropped off the load and got out of his truck to ask me about my situation. He checked things out and said I would probably need a second load. I told him that I would start on this load and call him again if I needed more. It was a very hot day and after I had shovelled for about an hour I gave up. I had barely made a dent in the job and I was burning up. I also realized that Parsons was correct. I would need a second load. So I called him up and asked for a second load of topsoil, and asked him how much he would charge to spread it around with his loader. He said it would be $50 per hour with a three hour minimum charge. I figured that was cheaper than a heat stroke so I agreed. He said he would be out the day after next. He showed up with the second load of soil and his loader. It took him almost 4 hours to spread the soil. He worked very hard and did not stop until I made him take a break. He forgot to bring water so I gave him a few bottles of water and a wet towel to wipe his very hot face. I told him to keep the towel, he really needed it. He did a great job and when he ended up with a bit of left over topsoil he offered to move it to a low spot on our yard. He only charged me for the 3 hour minimum on the loader. After watching him work in the hot, dry sun I felt it was well worth it. And the next day I found the towel cleaned and folded in my mail box. I would recommend him highly to anyone needing topsoil or excavation work.
