Services we don't offer
We DO NOT use nail guns! Despite other sources claims...our experience claims the use of nail guns are the leading cause of blow offs. Nail guns allow laborers(mostly unskilled) to work faster, not better. Nails are over driven, under driven, & nearly always shot on angles penetrating the shingle mat. Our experienced opinion is...Since nail guns became popular, more insurance claims are being paid costing homeowners more in premiums.
Jim is extremely professional, pays attention to small details, and does an excellent job. He communicates well at all stages of work, so you always know what is going to be done, and when. He uses high quality materials, which will last for many years, rather than cutting costs with cheaper grades of material.
Description of Work: Built a handicapped ramp in the garage. This ramp runs along the back wall of the garage for about 10 feet, to a 5x5 foot turning deck, then runs another 10 feet to the front of the garage. Also removed the prior ramp and steps in the garage which the builder had installed in violation of ADA code.

Everything went very smooth. They arrived each day and worked the full day. Hand nailed each shingle. No power nailer. Was mindful of the weather and worked on the roof in sections so it wouldn't be unprotected. I am very thankful. They did everything that was proposed.

The company owner was extremely honest, super professional and a perfectionist. He has worked with many carpenters in the area where I live and all of them have the highest opinion of him. His pricing was very reasonable. I would not use anybody else but him if ever we would need a new roof again.
Description of Work: I had Castleworks Incorporated put two new roofs on for us about six months ago. One roof was for our rental house and the other was for my current house.

Tarped the landscaping, and was very respectful of the property. He listened and addressed all of our concerns. They ran a magnetizer over driveway and lawn before leaving every day. Arrived on time, very personable and professional. We will keep his card, because we trust his work. Future indoor work is planned for winter weather. He corrected MANY mistakes made from the last roofing company!! Castleworks Inc., is a local company to Shelbyville and will be there if you need them back! THANK YOU JIM, GREAT JOB!!!!!
