Description of Work: I needed landscaping rock for my yard and picked out the kind we wanted. When I called them, although it was a busy Saturday, they made arrangements to come out before the end of the day and deliver. The driver was very nice and was able to unload all of the rocks onto the tarp I had placed on my driveway. The only issue was that I received more rock than I actually needed. The area to cover is approximately 500sqft so I ordered 5 tons. I probably only needed 3 to 4 tons. When I called them to see if they would take the excess back, the gentleman on the phone stated he had never been asked that question before, and he wasn't sure. He said he would ask and call me back. It has been over two weeks now, and no one has returned my call. Thus the reason for a B under responsiveness.

Description of Work: For the first service, we ordered rock for the side of an equestrian arena to prevent erosion. The price was good, but they were 5 DAYS late from the date they gave to us. My husband questioned this and they just replied that we are not their only clients. We needed the service so didn't argue back that it was the date THEY said they could do this, not the date we requested. Now it is spring and the arena needs a 24 ton load of sand. We called Thursday and they said they would call us right back with a date and time for delivery. We never received a call so I called back late that afternoon. They said they would send the load Friday. I stayed home from work so I could direct them and show them which side of the arena needed it. No body ever called or showed up. Late in the afternoon I called the business back to see why I had not received a call. He said "I don't know,let me call and find out and i'll call you right back". Again nobody ever called. It is Saturday now and still no call. I called them this morning and he said "Oh yea, it was supposed to be delivered yesterday. Let me call and see why no one showed up". Nobody ever called me back again. I lost a day of work on the weekday, and have remained home all day Saturday rather than showing horses to potential buyers at the show grounds, and I have no sand on the arena. Now I have to locate a new company, try to schedule another time to leave work, and for the second time have witnessed apathetic work ethic from this company. While the prices seem competitive, I can see that sometimes it is worth it just to pay more and have good service from a company that is punctual or at least courteous enough to notify a client if they cannot be there when stated.
