We have used Pinnacle Electric on a couple jobs at our previous home and were very pleased with their service. John is very forthcoming and makes me feel comfortable that he only recommends services that he feels are necessary. We will definitely use them on future jobs.

I used them only because they were recommended on Angie's list. Not the best experience for our first time use of a recommended business on this list. We would not recommend them or use them again.
Description of Work: Run wires from behind TV mounted above our fireplace out to side wall where we are having a built-in installed. First he charged us $70.00 an hour (which we didn't realize until we got the bill) just to look at the job and see if they could do it. He left several digs and marks on our beautiful wood mantle. Unfortunately at the start of the job I also asked for some outlets to be moved up the wall and changed from white to black so they would blend in with the built-in. This job took longer than doing the wiring job? 6 hours to move two outlets and a phone jack up the wall and change the same two outlets phone jack and light switch from white to black?

First I would like to personally apologize for your negative experience with us. The last thing we ever want is an unsatisfied client. We try our best to always go above and beyond with our service and apparently this time we failed to impress, and that is something we will definitely take into consideration. As for the mantle, we deeply regret any casualties that may have been caused by our installation. We try the best we can to be extremely careful and precise, but if our job did not reflect that then we most certainly need to do better. We would also like to express our regret for the fact that you seem to have been caught off guard by our hourly rate, which should have been explained to you from the get go. We pride ourselves not only on our quality and dedication to our craftsmanship, but also to our competitive rates which most customers seem to find reasonable. We're not quite sure how you weren't aware of the cost involved, yet still authorized us to begin the work, but apparently there was some sort of miscommunication along the way. So again, our sincerest apologies. As for your concerns over the time needed for relocating the receptacles in your living room, if the scope of that aspect of the job was not made fully clear to you then we apologize for that as well. Since both your receptacles and phone jack were fed from below their original locations, and you wanted them relocated higher up the wall, new wires had to be run in the basement and spliced where possible, for each location, which can be, and in this case was, quite labor intensive. We thought we were very clear about what that portion of the job would entail but if we were not clear then we certainly regret that you were blindsided on that. Again, thank you for your review; we greatly appreciate your feedback, and we are humbled by the fact that we did not exceed your expectations. Exceeding expectations is what we strive to do in this business, as well as our personal lives. John and Jay had come to our home about a week before they started work, listened to our concerns and needs, and provided us with a detailed estimate within 24 hours! When we accepted their bid for the work, we set a date (4/16/14) for work to begin. They arrived at our home at the appointed time and started work immediately. The job took 1 1/2 days with them furnishing all materials and labor that included digging a trench and installing conduit from the house to the shed. They left our house and she'd clean and neat! I will use them again and highly recommend them to everyone.
Description of Work: John, the owner, and his son Jay came to our home to check some circuit connections in our breaker box, install two new receptacles in our house, and wired our shed and installed lights and 3 receptacles in it.

I found Pinnacle Electric CO. on Angies List and used there services. They were on time and fixed my problem quickly. Professional and knew there business. I will use them again if I need anymore electrical work done. Also got a $10.00 discount for being a Angies List member.

I called Pinnacle yesterday afternoon and left a voice message. He called back and said he'd be here tomorrow morning around 9 and will call first. He called this morning and was here at 9:15. He got right to work. The most time he spent was finding the right circuit breaker to turn off since the panel was not labeled properly. He replace the switch and put everything back together. We did paperwork and he was on his way by 10 am.
Description of Work: John replaced a bad three way light switch.

John and his son Jay are really sharp and did an amazing job finding the electrical problem in our historic 1920s home. They were very responsive; we called over the weekend and they worked us in on Monday afternoon. We had a dead circuit, and in the process of diagnosing where the problem was they also found a miswired 4-way switch that they repaired. Our home had been re-wired in the recent past and we knew the wiring was pretty crazy up there in the attic, but they worked speedily and navigated all that just fine. Very professional, thorough, and reasonably priced. We are recent transplants to Knoxville and are glad to have found them.

They were sub-contractors to Cand L Construction but we got to know them over a few weeks. They were very thorough and professional. We are going to use them again.
