Dan Mitchell is a professional contractor, he is multi talented, does not lack integrity, and is a fine Christian man. We have asked Dan to assist us with many projects at our home, and we are very pleased with his help in planning. He offers many approaches to what we were looking for, and he let us decide what work best for us in terms of meeting the requirement and cost. Dan was recommended to me by a coworker, he had done some bobcat work for her in the past and had done a great job. He leveled and graveled a driveway for us, and as we are on a limited budget, gave us an estimate on how much it would cost in the future to concrete over the gravel base, which he put down such that we could just form it up and concrete over it when we could afford it. He also gave us estimates on a carport with storage, and was very knowledgeable, doing most of this on a calculator from the prices he had stored in his head.As for the actual work, he went above and beyond. He pulled out the old entrance to the side door, where the driveway was to go (and which we are replacing); we had told him we would remove it ahead of time, but we ran into a hitch when we dug down and found the posts buried in cement...10 minutes or less with the bobcat, and he had it out. We had some wood in a pile at the back of the house that we intended to split this weekend and stack at the back of the property: he used the bobcat and put the wood back there for us, to save us having to take it back. Also, he used the extra dirt from the driveway to level out a couple of places in the yard. Over all, we were more than pleased with his work, and when the time comes to pour concrete and build a carport, and anything else we might need done in the future, we will be calling Dan. September 2012; We have since had Dan's company build the foundation for our deck. Jason and Pete, of Jason Drolet's Construction, did an excellent job, despite one of them working with an injury, and were very reasonably priced. Dan did not lead us wrong. Very happy with our service.
