We bought our home two years ago, it is all brick but has wood trim and windows. The trim was mildewed, faded, and in some places we had rotten molding. Our front porch rail had been badly painted with inappropriate paint and was peeling and rusting, and our front door and shutters were faded and painted bland color. Craig and his team cleaned all of the wood and then painted it. Our home on one side is 3 stories high and our roof has a very steep pitch, yet they got every bit of the trim cleaned and painted. We had no idea what the trim color was, but they found a perfect match and had it mixed with the best Behr trim paint. The scraped and repainted the Iron railing with oil based paint that we chose to have match our trim. They provided us with color samples so we could choose a new door and shutter color and provide some feedback on our choices. We couldn't be happier. Craig communicates very well, and when he said he was going to show up, he did. He does exactly what he says. He coordinated the painting schedule so that I would only have to take a day off to open the doors and windows for painting. I will be talking to him in the future about some interior painting in our foyer, which is to high for me to tackle.

Craig's guys have done several painting jobs for us before, so I knew how competent they were. Having kitchen cabinets converted from 80and quot;s white wash oak to crisp clean white will be my all time favorite. Count on Craig to price jobs reasonably, repair rotten wood issues, offer sound advice if asked, and to complete jobs with perfection. Craig and his guys are actually nice to have around during the time they are working on a project and I would recommend without any reservations.

Craig and his crew did a fine job. They were neat and cleaned up well. The nail pops in the bathroom are gone. They also filled several minor cracks between the walls and ceiling. Craig and his two workers were always courteous and polite.

Although I used this provider several years ago, I would certainly use him again. He painted my daughter's kitchen walls and her bathroom vanity cabinets last year and did a great job. One cabinet had runs and he redid it with no questions asked! Very reasonable and professional. I cannot remember the cost or the exact date.

They came out when they said they would and we got the estimate quickly enough. Regrettably we found someone who did the entire job (roofing, power washing and painting). If we had not found an all-in-one contractor we would have used Clayton.

Ran a bit behind schedule for the start date, but we were not in a hurry and the owner, Craig Clayton, kept in touch. I was a bit unhappy with the color that I picked at first and Craig was more than willing to change it, but once more was painted was happy with it. Very professional, work completed on time, owner on site for the painting. Craig Clayton was a pleasure to deal with and our house looks great!

Clayton's Painting came highly recommended by a friend. We called him and another company that we had used before for estimates. Craig was prompt and gave us and estimate right away. He was able to schedule our job when we needed him and his crew was professional and courteous. Also, his crew were all people who had worked with him for a long time and he knew their work to be up to his standards and they were trustworthy to be in our home when we were not there. It was a fairly large interior job. They painted most of the interior of our home for the first time after its initial painting when it was built 5+ years ago. They came when they said they would come, and cleaned up each day when they finish. We were also having some minor construction and repair done in the house at the same time, and they worked well with the carpenters. Even with all the disruption that comes with having our home painted, they were a pleasure to have in the house. We were very please with the job and with the overall experience.

Had some difficulty getting them started. We actually had called them several months before they got around to our house. I think it was a miscommunication, but we didn't follow up very well either. We knew there were several jobs ahead of us, but hadn't expected it would be that long. Then had a false start when the crew didn't show up on time when they were supposed to. They sent a new crew and they finished the job. This house is a two-story Cape Cod that does not hold paint well, so we have had lots of experience in painting contractors! We have used the same color paint for the last 4 paint jobs. I never think painters scrape as well as they should, and this company was no exception. The house has 12 inch wide lap siding boards, and paint eventually peels down to the bare wood in places. Some places have checked paint, and it peels off in checks, while other places it just peels off in sheets. It didn't seem that they scraped the bottom edge of any of the boards, only the flat front sides. They did prime well. They also did a nice job on the windows. It was a year ago that we had this painting done, and it has started to peel again already, but this is not unusual for this house.

True professionals from the owner, Craig Clayton, to all who worked with him. Craig returned my calls, provided estimates, references and answered any questions in a timely manner. He provided me with a start date and honored that date. He and his crew were exceptionally neat in their work. They covered up the landscape as well as anything else that could possibly be painted accidentally. When they left, you could not even tell they had been there except for the fabulous new color on our home. The quality of work was top notch. We have a two story home with a mix of wood shake and concrete block and both textures turned out great. Their attention to detail was amazing. Also, Craig came within estimated amount in both dollar and time. We had three different bids and Craig was in the middle with his price. Not only did the price give him a leg up, but the fact he works on-site with his crew just sealed the deal for the job. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the job and Clayton's painting. Honestly, we can't imagine using anyone else for any painting job we may need.
