Michael Kakouris started the work in July 2014 and was still working in September and October sporadic. I've called, texted and emailed several times since then with no luck of reaching him. We had a glass overhang infront of the house. During a storm it got damanged and we called him to repair it and save the glass. As he's putting in the last screw in, he clipped the glass and it shattered all over the place. He had guys come to help him handle the glass so it wouldn't break. Then at the last minute he clipped it somehow and caused it to shatter. He did some work for us inside the house to equate what it would have cost to replace the glass. He was hired to do some more work outside the house and has never come back. He was to build a playhouse in the back yard, complete with walkways and electric, and he left to get the cement and materials and never returned. We bought wood for him to do some repair work as well. So now I just have pieces of wood just sitting in my back yard. He was paid in full for the services he was hired for and still no contact and no return to finish the work. He's a nice guy, but NOT a man of his word.

The porch was not made to my expectations or standards. I pointed out several times that it was not the way it should be. The owner of the company, Daniel Graham, took it upon himself to make several design decisions without consulting with me first. The columns he purchased are not the columns I picked out. I picked out flat white square columns with the header and footer. I even showed him the columns next door and said I wanted these in white with the header and footer. He got bright shiny white columns with ribs on them, very grecian looking and do not go with the style of my home whatsoever. The columns are not even aligned properly and hang over the front edge of the porch and have to be removed and replaced. The wrong siding is on the outside of the porch. There is a cement block (footing) that I understand was necessary, however there is quite a bit of excess cement that extends almost 2 feet out into my yard and is an eyesore. That has to be broken up, removed and replaced properly. The owner claims he was giving me a deal and doing me some favor, so I guess that means it is acceptable to him to do sub par workmanship. This is now costing quite a bit more to have redone - the correct way - by a real contractor. If you want something done correctly, save yourself from the headache and do not hire this company. He can't back up anything he says and will leave you with a mess.

Daniel Graham met with the inspector while I was at work and lied and said work was completed that wasn't. They installed the wrong window over 2 months ago and continue to lie about the correct replacement window. They also damaged the inside of my living room wall while installing the wrong window and never repaired it. Unbeknownst to them, I also have been in contact with the window company over the last 2 months and am well aware of all the lies I have been told. Daniel blamed the supplier and said they ordered the wrong window. Lie. Next he said an almond color window came in instead of white. Lie. Then he said it was supposed to be in last week... then it is supposed to be in this morning. Lies upon lies. I have yet to see the correct window that he was paid for. The truth is he ordered the wrong window and never paid them for the replacement yet continued to make up a different lie every time I ask about it. They made a mess out of my yard, driveway and garage. They threw their trash (food wrappers, water bottles) into the empty lot next door and I had to constantly pick up after them. They left a large amount of trash behind in my yard. The work they did complete was ridiculously sloppy. Every time I called or texted I was given the run around because he was jumping to other jobs to get paid. Once he gets paid you never see him again even if the job isn't complete. A man is only as good as his word, and Daniel's word is worthless. He committed insurance fraud to get paid early and never bothered to finish the job. Now I have to hire someone else to do work he was already paid to do while I sit and wait for the bank and insurance company to take their recourse to recover funds. I would like it to be known that "they" is Daniel and his crew. Mike had nothing to do with this job. As a matter of fact, the 2 owners of this company don't even speak to each other at all.

I would like to start out by saying this is not how we conduct business. We are a professional company that tries our best to keep our customers happiness our top priority. We take pride in our honesty is the best policy. I would like to try and defend the allegations that have been set upon us by an unhappy customer by the name of [member name removed]. [member name removed] was a friend of my wife’s and she has used me on a couple other projects and always been satisfied to the extent she gave us A+ ratings under her mother’s account name [member name removed]. [member name removed] called us after a storm when she noticed some hail damage to her siding, windows, soffit, gutters and a little area of dry wall in her bedroom. I sat down personally with [member name removed] and went over with her what I physically saw as far as damage. Once her insurance adjuster came out and assessed the damage they sent out an Engineer to make sure there was no structural damage done to the house and the roof. [member name removed] was not pleased with the finding from the Engineer because she thought her roof needed to be replaced also and called her insurance adjuster and complained to him. [member name removed] then was not pleased with the insurance adjusters finding so she spoke to his boss. The insurance company then switched insurance adjusters with her and they finally did what they needed to do to make her happy. After all of that was settled I sat down with [member name removed] to go over what the insurance company was willing to replace and we wrote up a contract and agreed upon the pricing. I then typed up a contract that she signed and sent into the mortgage company. Once we received the first payment we wrote [member name removed] a check for $1000.00 from our business account to hold onto along with the $1000.00 deductible she was to pay us as a good faith deposit so she was reassured I would not just take the money and run and the work would be completed. All I had left to do was replace the windows because when I ordered them the grades were left out. I did not repaint the bedroom, shampoo her carpets or do any drywall repair because [member name removed] wanted to use that money to change the color of the siding and completely reside her entire house not just the 2 sides insurance was paying for. [member name removed] then decided to add Shake siding to the top of her house. The reason the job has taken as long as it has to complete is due to material ordering delays, windows without the correct grades in it and also color which I can admit now I signed off on and did not proof read the order sheet. Because [member name removed] has been so unhappy with all that I have been trying to do to rectify the time is has taken to complete this job I chose to allow her to keep the $2000.00 to pay another contractor to finish what is left to do which is replace the windows that I am paying for. This would leave her plenty of money to pay the labor cost on completing that task. I would also like to say I have yet to sign off to the mortgage company that the job is complete and all payments have been received in full. I have spoken to both the insurance company and the mortgage company in regards to all that has transpired and they have apologized to me. As far as running away with the money, there is no money to run with, she still has in her possession $2000.00 that I have never received from her which is $1000.00 deductible and the $1000.00 good faith deposit. I do not appreciate the fact she is accusing this company of insurance fraud because all I have been trying to do is make her happy which is obviously not possible by me. That is why I told her to keep the $2000.00 she owes me and pay someone else to finish the contract in hopes that would make her happy. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused [member name removed] but do not appreciate her trying to slandering my name by accusing me of insurance fraud and running off with her money.

They were personable. They were pleasurable. They cleaned up everyday! They were very neat. And if there were any problems they came back without a qualm. They went above and beyond I think in everything that they did. They helped us stop and make sure that this is what we wanted. I've run into a lot of people that just turn around and just think they know what they are doing and this is the way it should be and they forget to ask the home owner! I feel rather friendly with them because I got a poinsettia for Christmas. They are considerate people! The price was very fair.

This post was made on Feb 2014 by the daughter of this member with a A+ rating and then changed in Dec by the same person. The daughter is the one posting on here who we had pleased previously. I am sorry we made you so upset. Thank you for your review. We have never had a contract with the member of this account.

DANIEL AND MIKE WERE EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL. THEY SHOWED UP WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE HERE, FINISHED THE JOB IN A TIMELY MANNER AND CLEANED UP AS IF THEY WERE NEVER EVEN HERE. AFTER HAVING SOME UNCOMFORTABLE EXPERIENCES IN THE PAST, I WAS VERY COMFORTABLE HAVING DANIEL AND MIKE WORK IN MY HOME. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES.
