Treated as though we were " city " folk moving in with motives to change their small town. Not wise comments in the back room about those looking to spend thousands on new appliances. Just not smart business, will be obvious by presentation if you visit. We decided we wanted to buy local to support what has become our new community, if you choose to shop for appliances and don't mind missing the deal of the week at lowes we suggest staying local and buying at "Blalock ". More like a hardware store "Blalocks" was, but the folks there were very pleasant, welcoming and made a good on pricing. Their a block or so away from this appliance store and if the appliance you buy is $100 more I know we would make that walk and pay that $100. Just as simple as that now everything is Angie's list for us. Disclaimer: These statements that are strictly my opinion and my opinion alone. Description of Work: Not very friendly. If your from out of town or new to town in this business owners eyes you are deemed "outsiders". If your not a local expect to be quoted or pay more and be taken for a fool .Even that much mores Odd, the owner will research you as you shop the store. A few questions here & there and the next thing you know he has pulled up your tax records either from past property or new property. Unbelievable the experience was.. never seen anything like it. Way of life is beautiful, people are great perfect small town. Apparently the owner is sod wg Hat of a "somebody" in town the chief of the good ole boys club. That said we wish we had read online some of the local comments in the local newspapers comments online & prior to wasting anytime there. I wouldn't use anyone else to service my appliances. I have used them for other appliance repairs and they have always done a good job. They only charged $40 for the service call because they offer Senior Citizens discounts. When they came and installed the new part, they didn't try to charge me for an additional service call. I was satisfied with their work and they are fair and honest people.
Description of Work: They repaired my washer's timer.
