Description of Work: Installed ceiling fan, installed 3 lights in closets, and installed 2 exterior fixtures. He did a great job! I definitely would ask him to come back for any future projects I might have.

Description of Work: Jerry installed a whole house surge protector, inspected & cleaned up our electric panel, and worked on wall cables. Several years ago he cleaned up our basement wiring & installed basement and exterior lighting. He always does very neat work and is professional, friendly, and punctual. We trust his recommendations and knowledge base. We have hired him twice and plan to do so again in the near future.

Description of Work: Jerry installed six6 6' can lights and can trims in three separate rooms, He tracked all the potentilal sites to the breaker box and disabled them to avoid any electrical problems . He made sure that all the cans operated on the same line, within the rooms and minimized the need for addtional swtiches wherel possible..He asked our advice on positioning each can, and installed them as we agreed. He also rerouted several electrical boxes for a new wall construction we were doing and installed a new fixture in a closet making sure that it worked with the light that already existed there. He adjusted two existing fans to work properly and gave us excellent advice on postioning them properly He will return next week and install dimmers and hang new fixtures in three rooms after the paitnters are finished.

Description of Work: He gave us an approximate estimate over the phone. That was nice. He was 15 minutes early when he came to do the work. He installed a Bathroom Ventilation Fan (which we had already purchased) exhaust hose in the attic and installed an outside vent on our house for the fans exhaust to go outside. Originally we were going to have him just install the fan but after looking at the job he let us know that there was no ventilation for the exhaust to go outside. We are the first buyers of this house and as suspected another corner was cut when it was built. Jerry said that he could either just put the fan in as originally planned or he could come back another time to install the vent hose and outside vent, if we wanted him to. We decided to get the whole job done that day, so that is what he did. We are very satisfied with the professional work he did. The price of the parts seemed a little high, but the price charged for labor seemed reasonable. We are glad that we got it done and are glad to report that it is working fine and it is great to not hear the deafening noise the old fan was making. Also, it is good to know that the moist air is now being vented outside, instead of up in our attic. Thanks to Angie's List, we are glad to have this problem behind us.

Description of Work: I have had Jerry out to our home multiple times in the past year and a half. Most recently, he was out to fix and replace landscape-home lighting outdoors. In the Spring we had a freak thing happen- lighting hit the motors in both chandeliers that made them both fall to the floor. Jerry was here from start to finish in getting them replaced and back to working order again. This was no easy task. I was stressed, but he made it so much better to deal with, by his knowledge, kindness and demeanor. He has troubleshooted problems when the outlets in entire rooms aren't working or just one outlet is not working. On his suggestion, we have replaced shower lights with LED lights and couldn't be happier with those. Since the lighting strike, he has installed surge protectors on the outside boxes. I have had lights that were hard to reach and he has gladly come out and replaced those for us, as well.
