Chad Gust

We purchased the home in November. I began looking for a contractor to put in a driveway in January. We searched the internet since we lived in Ohio. Gust had another customer from Ohio who was pleased with their work. Due to Chad being out of town we couldn't meet until March. The initial meeting went great. Chad and his brother were very helpful. We decided to survey the land to identify how much land we had to work with. After the survey, the Dogwood tree's bloomed and I decided I didn't want to cut them down. This changed our plans drastically. We asked for a second quote with out cutting the trees down. This took a great deal of time. In fact we didn't get a 2nd quote until we had asked our neighbors for another suggestion on a contractor. We decided to go with the second contractor. He was 1/3 the price. I am use to using the internet, skype or fax to respond to my customers. As a program manager I work hard to respond to my customers in a timely manner. My husband really wanted to use their services. When I thought we would be done with the drive way in April or May at the latest, we didn't begin until end of June.

Excellent home builder. Estimates were on target, no surprises, outstanding quality. A very honest builder and businessman. He was not satisfied with the quality of the wood flooring and had the manufacturer send new, replacement, flooring. He personally stayed at the work site to oversee subcontractors. My wife and I were surprised by some of the details of his work that he did not mention as being inclusive in his price. For example, in the "machine" room there is a separate red tube for hot water and blue tube for cold water to each and every faucet in the house, each marked for locations, and each with a separate cut-off valve.
