HANK'S PAINTING SVC

I have contacted this company by phone in the past to ask that they refrain from littering my property and my neighborhood streets with ziploc bags containing rocks in the guise of marketing. The bag o' rocks contains cards that read "Professionals at Work," but there is nothing professional about this company's marketing practices. I have contacted my sheriff's dept to request backup.

They came out late, and they never called with the quote. They came out even though they were late, they came out on the day they were supposed to but they never called back with the quote. They never even called to say that they would be late. They did not return my calls and I did not call them either. So I got the work done through someone else.

We received a recommendation for Hank's Painting Services from a neighbor, and I can't imagine it going better. They are very polite painters who took great care to do a thorough job. They even touched up some ceiling paint in a adjacent space to ensure a consistent look and feel across the entrance and living area. They cleaned up after themselves very well and pointed out previously existing paint splatters before they began work on an area. We definitely will call them again for painting services.

Hank was very polite &, to be fair, he did the entire job himself because he had just lost all his help. For what reason I don't know. The outside work was good- no problems there. The inside was another story. He broke a light fixture, broke a mini-blind, & over-painted real bad on the baseboards & backsplash in kitchen. Did not clean up very well after & left light switches off the walls. When I talked to Hank about this he did not get mad & offered to come back another time in a few days & make it right. That was 4 weeks ago & I have not heard from him since. Fixed the problems myself & decided that I did not want him back.
