+ -1 moreRIcky was not the low bid of four bidders. His bid was approximately in the middle. He helped us red line our plans as we had a few things that we wanted changed. The thing I'm most impressed with is Ricky's attention to detail and concern about structural integrity. We decided to do a fee plus cost construction. Each month we received a statement with all the actual paid bills attached. If Ricky received a discount (eg. for early payment of concrete, etc.) this was passed on to us. If there were excess materials they were returned and we received the credit on the next month's billing. Ricky was very good about consulting with us on all the details of the construction from start to finish.
Description of Work: Ricky Bue constructed our home in Giles County, TN. This was a fully custom home built from drawings that I had from a home designer. The house was built on a basement structure that had been started approximately 30 years ago (but house not completed at that time). A temporary roof structure was placed over the "sub floor" of the main level to protect the basement over the years. Our recently completed house is approximately 3700 sq feet of heated area (not including basement which remains unfinished), two car garage, 8x20 foot front porch, 12x53 foot rear porch and two rear patios. We are very pleased with the finished product as this is the last home we will every own.
