He's good, we try to get him to come out every year to clean our chimney and they always send out the same person which is good. We like him. He knows the house and we know him and he knows what to do.

They were punctual and professional. They did a thorough job taking care to clean up completely when they were through. I plan on using their services again for annual maintenance.

First, when I made the appointment I mentioned the Angie's List special which he informed me was no longer valid - but it is still running. Then, I made an appointment for today, 5/19 at 10 am. First they showed up last Thursday, just as we had finished concrete repair work on our driveway so there was no way to access the house, which I knew when I made the appointment thus, the Monday appointment. I told them I was scheduled for Monday (my day off) and they told me that they would alert the office to the error and would be back on Monday. Today, Monday at 10:00 am after not hearing from the office on Thursday or Friday, I called and was informed that since I missed my Thursday appointment I was out of luck - did I want to reschedule - are you serious? After you messed up twice and couldn't even make the time to call and inform me? Really? No!

Friendly...courteous and efficient. Found no other issues with Chimney following inspection and cleaning.

It went great. The guys were on time. They were clean and careful about protecting the surrounding floors and the gas logs inside the fireplace. The inside of the chimney was brushed and cleaned. The flue was adjusted for gas logs. They vacuumed fireplace doors and screens as well as any stray pieces that fell from the chimney. I had several questions about their findings and they were happy to give explanations to my questions. No worries with this crew - I'd hire them anytime.

I was quoted $99/chimney (with one big deal paying for one) but when they looked at the second chimney they said it did not have to be cleaned, so they only charged $50 for the inspection. I appreciated their honesty. I am extremely happy with the air duct results. We just bought the house and they were disgusting. The two gentlemen that cleaned them did a great job. My mom saw the vents and thought they were new. I could smell a pleasant clean smell come throughout the house. The ducts cost ~$350 but I think it was worth the money. Communication was great the entire time. I called and left a message to set an appointment, got a call back later that night and scheduled one for about two weeks out. They called on their way and arrived just about on time.

We are very pleased with them. I was not here when they came. My husband was. They were very nice over the phone. I think they did a very good job, they were neat and clean.

They did a great job and everything turned out great! It was pretty simple to schedule an appointment. The technician completed the work in less than a half of an hour. He cleaned up well after the job was complete. They were in and out very quickly. They were prompt, efficient, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Arranged for initial measurements. They were a little late but called early to let us know. They made measurements (cover is large, 95" X 45" with 3-1/2" turndown, and 36+ feet above ground). Cover was well made with excellent paint and fit. They installed days in advance, again calling early. Were careful during installation around new roof/gutters. Overall, excellent, professional, no-worry service. Payment: 1/2 down and last 1/2 on completion.

When they got here, they couldn't find any signs of anything in the chimney. They also did not have to do some things they thought they might have to when they quoted me. The actual price was way less than the quote, yet they did everything that needed to be done, including checking my connections to the fireplace and letting me know exactly what they were doing. I was very impressed in every respect and would definitely recommend them again.

Fast, excellent quality, great value. They repointed a few bricks, recrowned the top, replaced 2 ft of one flue tile, unblocked one flue, added stainless caps to both flues. Excellent service and value.

They were on time, neat and tidy, courteous, and answered all my questions (e.g. what is the best type of wood to burn in terms of creosote buildup). I use my fireplace only occasionally, so they recommended another sweeping in a couple of years. They left the fireplace area cleaner than they found it. I took advantage of an Angie's List "Big Deal" and I'm happy with the price I paid.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out pretty well. As far as I could tell, they did a good job. They went a little above and beyond, not a whole lot because we didn't really ask them. It was just pretty basic maintenance check kind of situation. There was no extra cost.

It was just wonderful. I used them a month and a half ago and I spent about $700. I like everything about them. they're very professional, they did a good job and they're excellent people to work with. My interaction with them was perfect.

The 2 guys that came out were puntual, polite, and worked quickly. I got a clean bill of health for my fireplace and was able to use it that night. They also put cap on thechimney lickity split. Resonably priced! Thanks! Will definitely recommend andwuld use again!!

They’re always excellent. I’ve used the, before. They’re reasonable, honest, and come when they say they’re gonna come. It’s pretty much the same people that come out to do the service. I’ve been using them for about 2 years.

Wow... the good reviews i read paid off. These guys were punctual, friendly, professional. Took the time to explain and answer my questions. VERY impressed the one guy climbed up onto the roof to check out the chimney top -- I have a steep roof, and its way up there. He made it look so easy. Very quick too. And when finished described what they saw, that all checked to and looked good. Plus they complimented me on my choice of wood being burned (Oak) lol too funny. They said Oak burned clean and made it easy to clean down to the shiny part of the flue. Cool. Excellent experience overall. I won't hesitate to call Mad Hatter again.
