Eric Martin Remodeling

Eric and his team put in new vinyl windows replacing the originals. Put in a new front door. Quality work. Reasonable price. He showed up as promised and worked every day until finished. Eric is great to work with. Honest as they come.

He listened to us and if he thought he could save us money he gave us recommendations on what to do. Very pleased with his work and we will be calling him back to do work in our living/dining room later on in the year. One more thing, we usually ask for a military discount, but his rate was so good that we did not ask for one. Very pleased.

It was a great experience. Eric was very personable, listening to what I wanted to have done. He started the job promptly the day he scheduled. The tile work in the shower was excellent, especially the consistent spacing between the tiles. He cleaned up the area well after the job. The new bathroom looks great !

Eric showed up on time everyday and actually answered the phone when I called. He started my job and didn’t flip between it and another job or two. He came, got it done and was honest.

We had a very unprofessional experience with this company. The estimate was an email that was thrown together to satisfy something promised a week+ prior than received; it was vague and had several items in that were never discussed, and was missing several items that we did discuss. I was actually quite surprised; not detail oriented at all, and it just seemed to be drafted by a person who didn’t really care. We should have left it at that, but instead, we requested clarification and a quote revision. Eric replied back that he would have it for me the after the weekend. I never heard from him again. Being busy with work isn’t an excuse not to respond to potential clients and not do what you say you’re going to do. In summary: horrible communication, not detailed oriented, and just plain unprofessional. People come to Angie’s List to read reviews and find good contractors, so I find it necessary to post my experience.

Eric was fantastic to work with. Very prompt in his communications and work. He asked questions to clarify what we were looking for when appropriate. He had suggestions for how to better build our passthrough. Set his and our expectations very clearly. And most importantly, he did excellent work. I am incredibly happy with how our project turned out and will absolutely be hiring him again.

Work was started quickly, project finished under a week, however, my toilet is leaking because the floor is very uneven as are the floor tiles. My tub is also leaking. The tile around the tub is uneven and is cracking.

He did an excellent job and got it done in a very quick turnaround. He completely gutted both bathrooms and his work was beautiful. His prices were lower than what I found and I am so pleased with his work, I am going to have him redo my kitchen as well. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Eric and Keith were great to work with. The took our original plans and made helpful suggestions to actually improve the design. When we had changes/additions to make, they worked well with us to work the new items in. Their prices were resonable. When we have more work needed done on the house, we plan to work with them again if they are available.

Eric and his crew arrived when they said they would, began work immediately, including moving everything from the room, stripped away all damaged subflooring and cleaned up all the mess. The next day arrived promptly, laid new subflooring and cleaned up the mess. They returned to lay the vinyl tiles and had it looking beautiful in a matter of a few hours. I could not be more pleased with Eric's work ethic, professionalism, and efficiency. I would definitely hire them again! Eric even came back and provided and installed 2 doorway transition pieces at no additional charge! It was overall a great experience for me!

He was very accurate in his timeline, and stayed on budget. Nice guy that does an amazing job!

Eric responded promptly and completed the repair very quickly. Others wouldn’t quote because they thought the job was too complex, but Eric’s experience allowed him to do the job in a much simpler manner and much less time. We were very satisfied and will use Eric again in the future. I recommend him highly.

Eric did an excellent job with re-staining. The coat was even and looks amazing afterwards. I would highly recommend Eric for your next remodeling job.

A week before my appointment, I contacted Eric just to be sure he didn't forget about me. He said he'd be here at 8am sharp on the 9th. He actually arrived about 7:20. At the end of each day, he'd tell me what time they'd be back the next morning. They were always a little early. Eric and Keith worked hard all day every day. I never saw them even take a break. They put down drop cloths and were very careful with everything in my house. The fiberglass tub/shower unit is now gone and they did an awesome job with the tiled in shower. Everything in my new bathroom is perfect... including the paint job! Next time I need something done I won't call anyone else.

The project went well! Eric was punctual and did an excellent job replacing my old deck. This deck is built so much better than my old deck! He made an excellent suggestion about how to place the steps, so that it maximized my backyard space...something I wouldn't have thought of doing! Some of the siding on my house was damaged in places where the old deck had been, so Eric offered to replace the damaged siding. At the last minute, I decided I wanted a gate for the deck (installed at the top of the steps, since I have dogs). He built one and installed it without complaints!!! I will definitely contact him when future projects come up!

Great! Fair price for quality work.

I am very happy with the results. The new laundry area located on the main floor of my house makes life much easier -- doing laundry in the basement had been a pain for years! The stain and paint jobs really improved the curb appeal of my house. Eric was a pleasure to work with and I will definitely call him again.

Mr. Martin was a gem to work with! He priced the work we requested and stayed on budget. When we asked for more, he was able to tell us immediately how much extra the costs would be and he stayed within that amount. He is very honest and always shopped for the best prices. He knew we wanted the work to be well done & to look good at the best possible budget. We gave him "carte blanche" which allowed him to choose the materials he needed and he never took advantage of that. He was on schedule and completed the work when he said he would. We are in the process of buying our 2nd rental property and he will definitely be our man again. We are actually waiting for him to return from out of town before making a final offer on this property. Besides being good at what he does, he's a very pleasant man to work with!

Aside from rain delays, all went smoothly! We will hire Eric Martin again! The deck looks great! Very happy with the work!

Eric and his worker did a very impressive job. For only two guys they worked like the wind. Everything exceeded my expectations.Very professional. He does quality work and I would recommend him to any one . You will not be disappointed. His attention to detail is great.

Went well even though it rained several times.

Eric was quick and professional. He kept me informed of times he would be coming. The end result of his work was great, and my house has never looked better.

Eric offered to start work, at a good price, when he had an opening in his schedule. It worked out perfectly for us, because he was able to start work right at the time we were ready as well. He was on time for each segment of the remodel process, which was four of five visits for his part. He removed all the old cabinets in the kitchenette and took up the vinyl floor in the bathroom, then installed our beautiful slate floor on the first day. He also hauled off all the debris. On the next day he returned and grouted the floor and installed a new toilet, added an outlet and repaired drywall. The toilet developed a very slow drip around the tank and after I called, he returned the next day to correct the problem. Several weeks passed before he could install the backsplash because cabinets had to be delivered and installed by another contractor. Then granite had to be cut and installed by yet another contractor. Eric was able to return soon after all that and finished the backsplash was up in two back to back visits. I must add, Eric was easy to work with and listened to what we wanted. The work he did is beautiful. He was always on time, clean, friendly and pleasant. I feel he is someone that can be trusted with you home and remodeling projects.

Eric was fantastic. He was responsive with providing the estimate and patiently explained to us the details of his remodel plan (including some cost-saving options). The work was done on time, and he even came out on a Sunday to finish due to a weather delay. The structural support has proven to be a solid foundation for the hot tub. We would recommend him for decking work without hesitation and look forward to working with him in the future.
