+ -1 moreThe techs (James and Allen) that came out took the time to diagnose the problem. I have used other companies in attempt to fix this issue, but not one of them worked with the same attention to detail as the techs from Archers. They wouldn’t quit until they made sure the issue was resolved!
Description of Work: Air conditioning unit began blowing hot air. This had happened on numerous occasions.

+ -1 moreIt went well. Tim and Brain were very professional, competent and easy-going. The crew did a nice job of removing the existing Carrier unit (19 years old) and replacing with a new unit. We discussed location for handler, unit and lines and other installation details, and throughout the process they were willing to work with me to arrange things to our satisfaction. They cleaned everything up well. Checking things out after installation, I noticed a little vibration noise, and they came back the next day to have a look and listen. They ended up applying some rubberized matting on one side of the air handler that butted up against the wall/ceiling, and there was no more vibration noise. They were also very courteous and patient with me in answering questions about the new R-410A refrigerant (my old system was R-22), the auxiliary system, the thermostat. It seemed genuinely important to them that we be happy with all aspects of the job.
Description of Work: Installed new Carrier split heat pump (1.5-ton, 13 SEER, with 5KW electric aux), removed old unit.

+ -1 moreThese guys were great! Tim, Chris and Brian were so friendly and professional. They really know how to treat a customer. I will never call anyone else for HVAC issues. I will also be signing up for their $149 twice per year preventative maintenance visits.
Description of Work: Our heating unit crashed on 2/28/14 at 7:30pm. I called the HVAC company who installed our heat pump and they oculdn't see me until Monday. On Saturday when we were feeling pretty cold in the house, I decided to call Archer Home Confort when I saw their info on the York website. (York is the manufacturer of our heat pump). Tim from Archer came out on Saturday night. He found an electrical issue and gave as a temporary fix until another crew came out today to replace an electrical fixture.

+ -1 moreWe had Archer Home Comfort Specialist come out and check our unit, they also cleaned it as well. The are very professional young men and serious about what they are doing. We feel much more comfortable now just knowing that the unit has been checked and we have someone to call if we need them. Thank you Archer Home Comfort Specialist for this great service.
