His professionalism was top notch, and he was incredibly flexible and respectful when it came to working around my schedule as a firefighter. He and his crew were efficient, reliable, and made sure the job was completed the right way. He performed waterproofing in my basement, and since the work was completed, there haven’t been any leaks at all. James gave me his word that if anything ever does leak, all I have to do is call him and he’ll make sure it gets taken care of. That kind of peace of mind means a lot. He also provided a warranty to back up the work, and his prices were very reasonable—especially for the quality and service he delivered. He made sure I was happy with everything even after the job was done, which speaks volumes. I’ll definitely be using him again for future projects.

Couldn?t recommend them enough! James was kind and informative, and kept us in the loop the whole time. His worker Brian was unbelievable and worked incredibly hard - incredibly efficient. Every time my husband and I talked to him we would say ?wow this guy is so nice? or ?wow he is working so hard?. The last day he spent 10 hours under our house working to get it finished for us. We received quotes on other company?s and their price was also the best by a long shot.

James has now finished 3 Jobs for me .l have 3 rooms in my basement bathroom kitchen bedroom large living area washer and dryer etc. The last heavy rain we were almost flooded with water from the outside front wall James and his crew dug up a 40 foot long strip 5 foot deep and 3 plus feet wide and completely sealed my home and put additional 3 drains under my sidewalk for additional protection.Now when the heavy rains come and they will I Will sleep better knowing my investments are protected.one last piece of advice I knew what I wanted but his knowledge and advice was truly helpful in making the decision who to go with.thanks!!

James is very knowledgeable about his work. He waterproofed, installed a dehumidifier, new subfloors, and new floor joists. All at a very reasonable price. James takes pride in his work and goes beyond expectations to ensure he's thorough with completion. I would highly recommend him!

Our late 1950's home was in dire need of fixing our crawl space. When we looked in the space, we saw standing water, mold-damaged rafters, and a terrible odor that was dangerously unhealthy James McCashland of Middle Tennessee Crawlspace answered our call for help immediately. He thoroughly inspected the problem and, without giving a sales pitch, he explained what was needed and alternative options. Mr. McCashland gave us a Tennessee Crawlspace quote that would get rid of the water, repair rafters, remediate mold and totaly encapsulate the space. Not only was his quote very affordable, but it guaranteed the job would be the completed within the following week. He was wrong about that. All work was done, debris removed, and obnoxious order elimated in 3 days. I would certainly recommend James McCashland's Middle Tennessee Crawlspace to any person looking for affordable, prompt and honest company!

Hired mid 10 crawl to perform complete encapsulation of 2500 ft 45-year-old crawl space. They removed all old debris and old plastic vapor barrier, installed clean white threaded vapor barrier up the walls and across the floors, sealed all openings, taped up all joints and piers, installed LED lighting, added a new power line and dehumidifier treated the joists for mold and treated the ground to reduce mold and organism growth. Midtencrawls price was far below the big name companies. They provided excellent reliable and efficient personal service which *you will not get from a big name national company with fancy color brochures*. I know this for a fact because I had bids from those three other big companies and I turned them all down. Owner James McCasland is very knowledgeable and inspired a lot of confidence. He pointed out things which the three other companies did not either know about or did not bother to mention. Highly recommend this company.

We had reviewed 3 other companies before selecting Middle Tennessee Crawlspace. The top reason was pricing and my neighbor was having his crawlspace encapsulated and felt his information, price, and knowledge was valid. James had also worked for other companies that do encapsulation and knows the truthfulness of their promises. James was very knowledgeable about his craft, soils and what the overall key performance indicator hed be expecting. Basically, humidity and moisture goals(there is a difference I learned). James and his team provided excellent service and went above and beyond the general work that was required. Example; closed off a big gap in the walls separating the two different crawlspaces that we have that took extra time and his costs of materials all done on his own dime. He even offered to pull the remaining insulation down that I didnt finish from the joist the prior owned had installed for a small fair fee. Keep in mind he and his crew were working in the 95 degree temps we had during this time. And he was accommodating when I asked him if he could reschedule his dates to finish because I couldnt be home. No problem. His crew cleaned up all the debris from the original builders mess, and even laid down a 2nd layer near the entrance at his own expense because he knows that going in and out of that area would cause extra wear and tear over time. You can tell he takes care and pride of the work he and his team does. Not many contractors, OK maybe one other contractor Ive hired cared as much about their work as he did. And believe me, the craftsmanship down here in TN is nothing compared to back home in NY. Everything was finished on time, on budget and he came back a week later to follow up on how things were going. And, how do I know that the service he proved was working? Within 1 week my humidity levels dropped from 85% to 55% and all the wood joist and beam moisture levels decreased which was evident because there was now an 1/8th of an inch gap between the newly installed wooden beams/piers and the old house joists. I had to crank up the piers so they would be supporting again. Keep that in mind when your levels of moisture go down. Thank you James and team.
