The communication was excellent every step of the way! We were offered an earlier day than originally planned which is unheard of in this area in our experience. The job was done quickly and Matt cleaned up everything. This is the only company we will be using and HIGHLY recommend them to others!

Chris arrived as scheduled and promptly started the job. During the course of the job I discussed with him 3 other projects we would need electrical work on. He listened and talked me through the jobs and how they could do them. I will be hiring them to come back and install new pocket lighting as well as upgrading our box and upgrading our electrical and lighting for our kitchen remodel.

The crew found and fixed the problem. What I didn't like and why some ratings were GOOD instead of EXCELLENT was that I was expecting a free estimate so I could get a couple estimates. The crew found the problem, fixed it, and gave us a bill. I think the miscommunication was with the man who booked the team visit.

The men that came from Barnes electric were early, which was a great thing. They came in and did the job and was gone within an hour. They knew exactly what they were doing. My husband and I were quite empressed. Super nice fellows. I would definitely hire again!

Chris and Eddie worked quickly and professionally. Took care of the failed outlet with replacement, as part of service checked main circuit breaker panel and found many loose connections which they tightened up. Sleeping better at night with more confidence in my home's electrical system! Were slightly late but found out a technician had hurt himself earlier in the day which put the team down a man. No problem, had told James there was no rush when we set up service call. Like other's, we appreciate the booties and care for cleaning up after work complete. We've found our electrician for Sumner County!

I called, he answered, and I ask for an estimate on these jobs. He said he was driving and would call me back in about 30 minutes. He never called.

This is the second job I have had James (of Barnes Electric) do for us and again I was delighted with their professionalism and punctuality. They were able to run a 220 line from the circuit breaker in the basement of the house, through a preexisting conduit that was running 110, to the garage about 50 feet away, saving me the expense and mess of digging up the backyard.

The workmen were prompt, professional, and demonstrated expertise in working out some unexpected problems in the installation.

Great! There was a mix up and they didn't show up when they said they would. The owner was so remorseful for the error that he offered to complete the service for free. They went above and beyond with the work they did. I'd highly recommend them for any electrical work.

Mr Barnes diagnosed the problem, found bad connection, and fixed the circuit. He and his assistant were quiet, efficient, and professional. When done they cleaned up and emailed me his bill. For time spent and work performed, the cost was very reasonable. We were very impressed and would definitely use again. Highly recommended.

We contacted Barnes Electric for an estimate. A man came out within a few hours with four men in training to look things over. He said he would get an estimate to us. After not hearing from him for several weeks we texted him to let him know the estimate had not arrived. It has been almost a month since that text and still nothing. It appears to us that he must not need the business.

I have a 60 year old house. The past few weeks I had issues with lights all through the house flickering, gradually worsening to the point of flickering continuously. Concerned about the likelihood of old wiring going bad and needing some major work, I messaged them through Angie's List at 1030pm, assuming (hoping) they would contact me some time the next day. Within a few minutes I received a text saying he could try and come out tomorrow afternoon, but it sounded as if I should call the power company first to check wiring coming to the house, then if there was nothing the power company found wrong he would check it out. NES came to the house, identified the problem, and fixed it. Even though Barnes Electric never came to my house, he provided free, honest advice (which was correct) and indirectly helped fix my electrical problem. It would have been so easy, and not surprising, for any other company to have come to my house and charged a service call visit to do the exact same thing this company did through text messages at 1030 at night. They have completely earned my respect and I will definitely use them for any future needs I have and recommend them to others.
