Tim and his crew were very punctual but didn't appear to have had experience in applying Venetian Plaster. One wall had this effect. They had to come back two times to and quot;touch upand quot; which they did without question but the effect was not achieved I would have rather had someone tell me they didn't know how to apply the finish, than to do it without proper results.

Tim estimated correctly that it would take about a week to complete and that was what it took. He worked steadily and was careful in his building and craftsmanship. He also suggested installing a border on the other side of the ramp in case of need for a wheelchair. This ramp ends in our driveway and is about 60 feet long, so it definitely needed a handrail. Tim came every day that he said he would be here and always called us if he was unable to get here. We would definitely recommend Tim for such a project. He is careful and very dedicated to doing a good job. The finished product looks really great with our already existing porch and ramp. We will have Tim back for other jobs in the future.
Description of Work: Tim always was here when he said he would be from the initial bid to finish. We needed a handrail for a screened porch and ramp addition to our home. It needed to match the already begun railing near the door, including cedar covering of the vertical posts and decorative design cut out. Tim did everything exactly as suggested, and it ended up looking great, even with my husband's adding an extra decoration at the end. Tim did not include the cost of materials and that was included in the amount above. The materials were about $800 with the cedar. His bid was $1300 and that is what we paid in the end since he also cut a couple of small trees to help access the rail and repaired a loose railing on our deck out back in addition to adding the wheelchair wood border on the other side.
Tim was called out to give an estimate on a painting job. He was very courteous over the phone and he came out promptly. He gave us an estimate for painting and other odd jobs. Although we thought his painting prices were a bit high, we decided to go with Tim because he was professional and appeared to be reliable and trustworthy. He gave a very good first impression and he proved to be just what we thought. Tim arrived on time when he scheduled the job. He did a great job.

Tim showed up when he said. He gave me a fair estimate, and showed up to do the work when he said. He stayed on estimate, and did a great job on the carpentry. I would recommend Tim for any handyman or carpentry project.

Tim has done various remodeling jobs for us for 4 years. This project, as all his others, was done meticulously and timely. If any aspect of the job is ever in question he never fails to clarify what we want done. He always leaves the site cleaner than he found it. After completing the exterior work he tightened our sink faucet, hung a hanging plant in the bedroom, installed a new switch for a ceiling fan, and cut away some rotted siding. He has been proficient at everything from electrical to plumbing to carpentry. He allowed me to tell him the specs Hardieplank used for installing trim and had no problem following their instructions. He just recently began charging the going rate here for his work. He was way under-priced before.
Description of Work: Replaced rotted soffits and fascia with new lumber. Would have hauled off rotten wood but we burn it here. Approximately 45 feet replaced. Replaced rotted exterior trim pieces with Hardieplank 1x4. Approximately 45 feet replaced. I supplied materials.
