Description of Work: They patched my roof. After the work was done, the roof leak was worse. When they returned the roofer told me the problem was the gutters not the roof and explained how I could fix it with caulk. So why did they patch the roof? Thank god for a dry summer.

Description of Work: After accepting the coupon offer available to me from Angie's List, I placed a call to Radiant Roofing and left my name and phone number. During our first conversation, the provider told me that the offer should have been removed 3 days earlier from Angie's List and he would have his secretary contact Angie's List. On Friday, 3 days later, I got a call telling me that he had been in contact with AL and a refund would be forthcoming. Not exactly what I wanted to hear! I was expecting to have an appointment made for repair. He suggested that I CONTACT ANOTHER PROVIDER!!! It seems the primary focus was more on the coupon offer... and not MY ROOF needing to be repaired.

Description of Work: Called this guy for two weeks, his son or someone promised to come over ,took my address, never called or set an appointment. Finally got in touch with him and promised to be at my home on friday from 11;30AM TO 1;30 pm, never showed up or even had the courtesy to call and tell me he wont be showing up. All day long i waited for him, kept all my errands aside, i hope he reads Angies list at least once , just to understand that all the credibility you built up over a period of time simply vanishes in thin air either because you are too lazy or dont care anymore once a reputation is established. Buddy, you just lost 15000$ worth of assignment to another contractor.

Description of Work: Neil assessed my roof as one of three contractors I requested estimates from. He performed a walk down, and concluded I didn't need a new roof just yet. He told me I had a couple of years left before I really needed a re-roofing. He completed his estimate, which was very competitive with the other two. I really appreciated his honesty and professionalism. He was very knowledgeable and explained all the proposed costs. When I DO have the roof replaced, I will definitely use Radiant.

+ 0 moreThey had the best price, they showed up on time & complete the job on time. Their workers were clean & very polite, they protected my plants and cleaned up beautifully. There was nothing to complain about.
Description of Work: This is approximate date & cost, but they roofed our home and a rental unit. They had to replace a lot of wood on the rental and both houses had to be complete tear offs as they both had 2 roofs already. Both looked beautiful.

We have used Radiant Roofing for over 10 years on all of our rental properties and have always received good quality service, prompt responses and have always been pleased with the cost. + -1 moreCarpentry work in replacing bad wood was not impressive, Schmidt did not instruct the crew to leave old brick from chimney needed for foundation repair to my house. They retrieved some of the old brick, but did not leave all as agreed by Schmidt. Complaint I have is regarding Schmidt's deceptive practices, making verbal representations he has no intent of fulfilling, in this case telling me all fees & permits were included in his estimate, then failing to purchase a City building permit. I had to hire a contractor to inspect his work since he charged far above his estimate. City building inspector would not inspect the work because there was no permit. His attorney threatened to sue me because payment was delayed due to necessity of inspection. He claims not to have deposited my check & is still attempting to collect $5,800 from me after his attorney compromised & settled the matter. I have the canceled check. I could have had a metal roof with a lifetime guaranty for his price!
Description of Work: Removed & hauled off old roof, replaced shingle roof, removed chimney (to leave all old brick from same), replaced bad wood, flashing chimney & replace pipe boots.
