Very unprofessional, technician had an attitude, he has changed his story several time to the main office Chris, he did not even has a flash light with him--he is a certified electrician??

After calling two Craigslist ad electricians who were complete no-shows, we called Helton Electric. They had several good positive reviews on Angie's List. First I talked to Chase, told him what I needed, and he set up a time for Jason to come out to look things over & give us an estimate. We had one previous estimate from another local electrician. Jason told us how Helton would do it and gave us some new ideas to consider. My wife was impressed and we called them back to set up a day to complete the job. Anthony & Casey showed up right on time and began to work. These guys know their stuff! The dining room light was moved, ceiling fans installed, switches & plugs installed by early afternoon. They left no mess, in fact there was no trace of them even being there except the new lights were on and fans blowing! Everyone at Helton Electric Company were very polite & professional. In fact, I think Anthony & Casey deserve a pay raise & an extra week of paid vacation. Highly recommend Helton Electric if you have any need of an electrician.

The electricians were able to respond to my request within two hours of my calling the office. They were polite, professional, prompt and good communicator both about their arrival time and the work they recommended performing. I would highly recommend this company and will certainly use them for my future electrical needs!

Service was excellent. I was contacted quickly after I sent an enquiry message. We set an appointment time for the following week and they arrived right on time. Work to fix my immediate issue went fairly quick. We spent a good amount of time reviewing another project that I plan to do this year. Good review of what would be need and we discussed options.

We’ve been really happy with them and have called them for several different things. Scheduling is very easy. The electrician are always very professional. We would call them again if we needed to.

Although Helton Electrical could have made a "house call" and billed me accordingly, they took excellent care of me over the phone and solved my dilemma. I almost feel bad I was unable to pay for their advice but will call them every time I have and electrical issue in the future.

We were in the process of selling the house next door to ours when we discovered that several outlets and lights were not working. After reviewing Angie's List, we called Helton Electric to see if they could send someone to have a look. Since it was 3 days before Christmas, and they would be closed beginning Christmas Eve, we were not surprised when Tim advised that they might not get to us until the following week. Since it was not an emergency, we agreed that would be fine. Fortunately, we received a call from them the next day indicating they could do the work that afternoon. We agreed on a time for them to visit. Chris and Nick arrived promptly at the scheduled time and went right to work trying to locate the problem. Since this was a 30 year old house and all of the wiring was concealed, it took a trip up into the attic and finally under the house to locate the source of the problem (a rodent had chewed through a wire). After locating the problem, they were quick to get the circuit repaired and functional. Chris and Nick were very professional and courteous, and insisted on making sure the job was done correctly. The charge for their time and materials was very reasonable, and we appreciated their quick service. We would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

They installed the speaker and light switch where I needed. It is difficult for me to take time off, Helton Electrical worked with me with scheduling an appointment that worked for me in which I didnt have to take time off.

I was looking for an electrician so I went to Angie's List and found Helton Electric (highly rated) and it was a joke. The person that answered the phone said that they were busy and someone would have to get back with me. Got a call later in the day and they said they didn't forget about me and someone would call me tomorrow. The next day I did get a call, the gentleman explained that they were very busy and asked what kind of work I was looking to have done. I explained that I was looking for a 50 AMP RV service line to be installed; new basement lighting; and new outlets to include 2 welder outlets installed in the basement. This was on Friday, he said that he might be able to get out to give me an estimate the following Friday, but if not the Monday after that, and that he would call me back to confirm the date/time. Well he never did call back, and needless to say never made either appointment to give me an estimate. I understand that they are busy, and I'm glad they are working, but with customer service like this how did they get busy to start with??

Very well. They had to order a special double light switch and remove one light i put in wrong location, and finish circuit for under counter. They recommended the right color lights so it looks normal and is not the weird white or blue color. Jason was really responsive to my calls and understood everything i asked for. The rooms are perfectly lit now, although i wont see the final until i get cabinets in and hook up the under counter LED strips but kitchen is great without them for now.

They have done work for us previously! They have always been punctual and professional. They were quick to find the source of our post light problem! I would recommend them for any electrical needs! The guys have been professional, likable, and willing to come back if needed. I never felt that our needs were a pain to them!

Disappointed because our call was not returned.

Chris and Nick were wonderful to work with. They ended up doing three homes with small electrical needs within a short period of time. My father-in-law was very impressed that they showed up on time and ready to work. We were very impressed by their willingness to look at problems and try to fix them. Thank you Chris and Nick for being willing to use your drills and screw in some extras for me for a small light and a curtain rod. You two went above and beyond and I will recommend that others use Helton Electric and ask for Chris and Nick! . Obviously the pricing was reasonable as I didn't hear anything from him about it being expensive. They had to go to three different home that were miles apart and were willing to do so. Thanks!

We have used Helton Electric many times. They did quite a bit of work for us at our previous home (a 1950s ranch with some squirrely original wiring); we gutted three bathrooms, and they did all the electrical work for that. They helped us with various other problematic wiring, too; by the time we moved, they had rewired quite a bit of our house.We recently bought a house built in the 1920s, which ended up having some significant wiring issues. Helton Electric did all of the repair work for us before we moved in, and they have helped us out with some odds and ends (hanging light fixtures, switching out the dryer outlet, and fixing my husband's do-it-yourself mistake) since. These guys do great work, and Helton Electric is a well-run company. We have never had a bad experience with them, and the electricians who have been in our home have always been polite and professional. They are timely and reliable, and they are good at explaining problems, options, and comparative cost - and then conscientiously and intelligently taking care of the wiring. A+ - I highly recommend.

It went great. They did everything the way they said they would do it and on time. I had tried other electricians that wouldn't call or show up and Angie's List had Helton Electrical Co. as their number one electrical contractor at the time and it was a breath of fresh air to deal with their professionalism at that time in my life.

They were very responsive. They came, and they helped me out. They fixed things up just finely. The guy's helper was very good, and I have not had a big problem with what they have done for me. I would definitely use them again. I just have not needed them for anything recently.

They did a complete inspection, diagnostics, and adjustments, and the problem still wasn't completely solved, so they called the power provider, waited till they arrived, then even though the issue was due to the power company, they ensured that the problem was fixed before leaving. They didn't charge for the full time they were there and even gave us an Angie's list discount. Very professional, on time, and caring. Would definitely hire them again!

Located hidden GFI outside. Replaced bad GFI in garage that took out all power but did not trip main box breaker switch. I am engineer and have wired houses. For me to need someone means there was really a problem. These guys were in and out in an hour. Best experience in quite some time.

We called Helton Electric because they had such high recommendations on Angie's list. We needed several outlets in the near future but were having problems with light switches not working and lights flickering. They came (at the exact time they told us they would come) within one day, and checked and tightened connections. Both of the men were extremely courteous and professional - they'll return to put in the outlets and move the chandelier when we call.

When they diagnosed the attic fan, they had no problem to leave and get the part and make the repair the same day. Bottom line, I highly recommend their service. I will be using their services in the future again.

Helton is a great company. They were fast, prompt and knowledgeable of what to do and how to do it. They were friendly and provided me with details on what they did and how they did it. I even needed them to schedule around my other project / contractors to get the timing right. They worked with me to see it done at the right time that I needed and everything was perfect. I will use them again for any electrical work that I need in the future!
