Tim Leeper Roofing

I was looking for a highly rated roofing company to come give me a second opinion on my roof that another company had just installed since I had some concerns whether it was installed correctly, and I found that Tim Leeper Roofing was highly rated and gave them a call. They patiently listened to all of my concerns & sent someone to thoroughly check it over for me, and it helped ease my fears about a couple of concerns I had, but he found a couple of issues that needed to be addressed that could've developed into a leak had I not had someone check it. He told me I needed to have a few damaged shingles replaced by the roofing company who installed it, which I was glad to find out before I paid them the balance I owed them. I also learned that my roofing company didn't do some of the extra steps that Tim Leeper Roofing does for their customers, such as routinely request from insurance companies and install new counter-flashing and ice guards around pipes, etc. Made me wish that I'd found Tim Leeper Roofing before I had my roof installed, because they really pay attention to ALL of the details from start to finish. Next time I will be using Tim Leeper Roofing to install my new roof and I'm recommending them to all of my friends and neighbors!

I highly recommend Tim Leeper Roofing. I had an emergency repair need, and they responded immediately and got someone out to me quickly. The repair they made looks seamless to me... you'd never know there had been a problem. They were very communicative about their arrival time, what they found when they inspected my roof, and what they did to repair it. Will definitely use them again!

Tim Leeper Roofing did an excellent job replacing my roof. They guarantee the workmanship and the product and stand behind their warranty. Three years afterwards when I experienced a small leak, they did a great job of repairing it at no charge! Great integrity, great workmanship! I will use them in the future for any roofing job I may have.

Great-Scott came out and climbed on the roof,took pictures and actually filled some gaps in between the brick and the shingles.No more leaks despite all the rain we have had recently.

The workman did a great job and completed the tasks quickly. The new fascia matches the existing pieces perfectly.

Wonderful staff, great communication! After several other roofing companies giving us the run around, my expectations were very low on finding a company with good work ethics and professionalism. Such a great experience from the receptionist scheduling to the two men who did our work.I love the fact that they send an email picture and bio of your tech coming out, so you know who to expect.When the time comes for a new roof , I will definitely remember them!

It went great. It took about 4 weeks to get my roof on because they had some big jobs ahead of mine, but once we got scheduled everything went like clockwork - and my new roof looks great!

The project leader, Jimmy, inspected the roof and submitted a proposal for the repair work on 5/25 which we accepted and got on the work schedule. A repair technician was scheduled to perform the work on 6/30, later than I had hoped, but there was a backlog of work to do. The weather on 6/30 was not good so the technician was rescheduled for 7/7. The technician arrived on time and performed the repair work as specified in the proposal. The following week it rained and the roof was still leaking and another area also was leaking that had not been leaking before. I contacted the office and Jimmy was scheduled to come back on 7/18, which he did. He found the "new" leak and repaired it, and did some more work on the original leak. The weather was pretty dry for the next two weeks, but after another good rain, the roof overhang was still leaking. Jimmy came back again the week of 8/7-8/11 and found the source of the leak and repaired it. The roof passed a stiff test when the remnants of Harvey dumped 6" of rain. I appreciated the efforts of Jimmy to find and fix the problem even though it took a few visits and there were no additional charges.

Great people and very professional. They went out of their way to help me with my insurance company. Roof was installed in one day and the supervisor came out the next day to check out and make sure everything was done correctly. Amazing fast workers. After they left, you could not tell they were even there. Except for the new roof. Lol

Job was completed professionally. To be safe they were asked to redo the flashing around 2 dormer windows. It took longer than expected but Nikki stayed the course, completed the job and provided a 1 year warranty. Great job!

We experienced a severe storm with heavy rain and wind. The next day I noticed a leak and damage to the wall in the garage. Tim Leeper Roofing had someone at the house same day I called to inspect and provide a recommendation and estimate. Our area experienced a lot of roof damage from many storms during this time period. My roof was not damaged, but did have marginal flashing which led to the leak issue. With many requests for repairs to damaged roofs, they were still able to schedule the upgrades I requested in a short time frame. The crew performing the work was extremely professional in manner and appearance. Work was done in a timely manner and photos were taken through the process to show me exactly what the crew did for the job.They did a fantastic job of cleaning up after they completed.

Overall, I am satisfied with the end product and level of service provided. It rained twice during the installation but it got done. The price quote I got was the lowest of the other vendors I had called to get a quote on. They had put some copper plating and I had to call them out to remove the black smudges that were present on it. That took some coaxing on my part but they eventually did do it. Their trucks left several cracks on my driveway but they gave me a discount on the total bill to make up for it, after I brought it to their attention. One of the cracks they did fix but in the process one of my in ground sprinkler system water heads which was right next to the crack got busted and now doesn't work at all. They didn't do a good job of getting the nails picked up off my grounds. I found a lot of nails after they were gone. They should have done a better job with that. However, they did eventually address all of my concerns and would recommend them to someone else.

One day 13 hrs! American company with all Mexican crew, not what I expected, but guys worked hard in 95 degree heat, all day, with only one hr off for lunch. Project mgr and other worker returned two times over next week to seal up chimney leak as suggested by client. Overall I am happy with quality of work and look of job completed. Dustin Matthews, the salesman for this job was very attentive of my concerns and did a great job on service after the sale. I also want to acknowledge Tim Leeper's 5 year warranty on repairs, a major reason I chose them for the roof. By the way, roof looks great!

Called them after hearing great reviews from another contractor. After an initial visit they came and try to repair it promptly. Leaked during next rain, came back again and try to fix it. Still leaked. Came out for the third time, nice people. But I got fed up and gave work to another firm specialized in fixing leaks around chimney as this already messed up my home interior and valuable things underneath.

He was courteous, on time, and honest.

The crew showed up at 6:30 AM (!) and got to work on the roof. They had it stripped of the old shingles in less than 2 hours. They then spent the rest of the day putting the underlayment and shingles down. They laid down an extra layer of waterproofing in the valleys. They carefully put multiple layers of protection over the seams at the brick around the chimney and garage. The vents were all painted black. The crew cleaned up carefully. It looks great! It's a first-quality job that should last. They were a little slow getting back to me to schedule the crew, It was about a week after I gave them the deposit. It was not an emergency so it didn't really matter.

The estimate was done quickly and emailed to me right after the estimate visit. The estimate was reasonable. The manager that I was assigned to did the estimate and then came out and reviewed the contract . The secretary called and set up a date that was within 2 weeks. The roofers came on the agreed date and. finished in a day. A supervisor was on site and spoke to me at the start and end of the work. He answered my questions. They cleaned up their mess and even some of my early gardening mess on the driveway. Everything went quite smoothly. Everyone was very nice. I was very pleased.

Overall I was disappointed with their response at my attempt to give them my business.

Tim Leeper was very responsive and provided excellent communication. They were prompt in calling me back and coming out to assess the roof and provide an estimate. They provided an estimated price that was in line with competitors. They took time to follow up with me and promptly answer additional questions I had based on their given estimate. I was torn in a decision between Tim Leeper and SmithCo, but ultimately went with Tim Leeper because they had a bit stronger professionalism, and a stronger web presence in my opinion. Tim Leeper and SmithCo both provided great education on the process and their procedures. Tim Leeper does rely more on their website to provide this information, but to me that was preferable. I also liked that Tim Leeper handled all paperwork electronically and thru email. The documents were clear and easy to understand. As for roof installation day, Tim Leeper was very flexible in scheduling an install date. With cold weather, they provided me the minimum temperature range to do the installation. They were ok with me wanting to have a warmer day for the install. My project installer and salesman provided their cell contact information and promptly responded to text messages when I sent them questions. Initially, they felt they might need 2 days to complete the install due to the shorten daylight days. But on install day, they started early and were very prompt. They were able to complete the install in one day with no issues. They performed excellent work onsite and did not leave until I performed an onsite walkthru with them after work was completed. I found one minor issue and they immediately corrected it before leaving. They also cleaned up after themselves very well and took care to not damage my landscaping. They picked up all nails and debris. In fact, after 2 weeks, I've only found 1 nail (even after it's rained). I would definitely recommend Tim Leeper to others. Best thing? Locally owned too.

I heard about Tim Leeper Roofing on the Dave Ramsay Show as an advertiser. Called after insurance company asked us to get estimates. Paul came out to estimate. He is outstanding, knowledgeable and honest. The estimate was exactly in line with the insurance evaluation, even though done independently. The work was scheduled and completed in blistering heat in under 3 days. As Paul promised, 6 nails per shingle were used and we found only about 2 nails on the ground afterward. The crew did damage the edge of hardy board on dormers during shingle removal. When this was pointed out, Kyle arranged for the hardy board repair which Leeper roofing covered. This did take a couple of weeks to get done, but the final result looks as good or better than the original. We were not asked to complete payment, beyond the initial insurance check, until the work was competely finished. Would have preferred that no damage done, but felt very good about the way Paul and Kyle handled the issue. Overall good experience Would recommend

Paul was my contact person, and although I did not choose Leeper for the job, I think they would have also been an excellent choice. Paul was professional and responsive and I'm taking the time to post this review because I appreciate his taking the time to write a thorough bid and follow up with me. This company comes highly recommend from many folks on the Hillwood listserv, and it was a really close call between them and Bone Dry.

The process went very well. It took 5 days to complete the whole process and the roof looks great.

. It is a local company. I found them on Angies List. He did an excellent job and I find his price very fair. I never really saw him. I talked to him over the phone. He was very courteous and very responsive. He called me back. But when he came in to do the service I was away from the house. I would use him in the future.
