After hiring Randy and paying for materials his not so professional roofers tore the old roof off and installed the new one. They say they clean up everything, not too accurate. I spent a few hours walking around finding nails and shingles. We had three ridge vents installed and one is different than the other. This was pointed out to Randy the day he showed up to collect the check for labor. He promised he would get the correct one ordered and installed. Over a year later we still have not seen Randy to correct the error. He even made the comment that the workers should of noticed it was different than the other two and let him know. We went back and forth on text with Randy on when this was going to be taken care of (which we still have the text). One week he would state he forgot and would be out the following week. When that week would go by, we would text again and he would say he didn't forget about us and would be out the following week. This went on for many weeks. It is now over a year later and the only time I could get him to answer my call is when I called from a different phone number. At that time he stated he would contact his workers and see when they could be out and would call me right back. I told him I needed to know when it would be becuase someone would need to be home. I have yet to hear from him and it has been two weeks. I have called and it goes to voice mail. I leave messages and can not get a return call. I have left a couple text and still no reply. Save yourself a lot of time and aggrevation and DO NOT use Randy Watkins for anything!

I first contacted Mr. Randy Watkins back at the beginning of April 2012 to see if he could fix a leak in my roof. He said he could be to my residence on April 5, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. He arrived at 11:00 a.m. I showed him on my roof where the leak was and he laid down a good amount of roofing calk and said “if that stops the leak you owe me $50 if not I’ll come back and pull the shingles around the leak and fix the flashing underneath and that should be around $250”. That seemed reasonable and I also inquired about him installing two roof vents. He quoted me a price of $100 for two vents and I agreed. Within 5 days or so we had had some rain and my roof was still leaking and I contacted Mr. Randy Watkins to inform him that he would need to return and do the more extensive work as discussed earlier, Plus install the vents. He agreed to be at my residence on April 16, 2012 at 8:00 a.m. On said date he was a no show. I tried repeatedly to contact him with all my efforts going directly to voicemail. Two day later on April 18, 2012 Mr. Randy Watkins called me around 7 p.m. and said he could be over first thing in the morning on April 19, 2012. He finally showed up around 11:00 a.m. He went right to work and removed the shingles fixed the flashing and re-laid new shingles. By this time it was just after 2:00 p.m. and he said that he would have to come back in the morning to finish installing the vents because the roof had become too hot to work with shingles. I could not take another day off from work to accommodate his untrustworthy schedule. I paid him $250 to repair the leak and $100 for the two vents he had already bought and said I would call and let him now when I would be able to be home so he could finish the vents. I called Mr. Randy Watkins on April 23, 2012 and asked if he could install the vents on April 26, 2012 first thing in the morning, around 8:00 a.m. He agreed. I called again on April 25th to see if he was going to be able to make it the following morning and he said he would be here by 8:30 a.m. April 26, 2012 came and went and I have not heard from him since. I hired somebody else that followed agreed upon schedules. I have come to the conclusion that Mr. Randy Watkins can only work for himself because his lack of punctuality and failure at communication makes him unemployable. The work he did do for me was fair to good quality when he finally showed up. Do not use Mr. Randy Watkins out of Oakland, TN. 38060 for anything. He wasted a lot of my time.
