anyProvider installed a tankless propane hotwater heater in 2009. After multiple return trips because the heater keep shutting itself off, he explained to us he couldn't figure out what was wrong. We called the manufacturer, who requested the information on the unit. We were then informed, the unit was not Propane, but a Natural Gas unit...the provider had installed the wrong unit (he also installed the pipe work for the unit so he knew it should have been a propane unit). The unit was exchanged, but he would not give us the warranty information so we can submit it to the manufacturer, who explains to us, without it, we do not have the full 10 year warranty. We started having some problems with the keypad, and made appointments with him to repair, but he would not keep the appointments...he just never showed up. We even contacted the Better Business Bureau in an attempt to get him to hand over the warranty items...he ignored them and was given an F rating by them. (We still do no have the 10 year warranty on the unit.) We had to call a Plumbing Company from Jackson to the house to flush the unit because of an error code on the keypad. They said they had never seen the amount of "gunk" inside of a unit, and they deal with many tankless water heaters...chunks of plumbers putty came out of the unit which is the result of using old, dried out putty during installation, and they fixed a propane leak from the unit, that is mounted in my attic!! 2 years ago we had another gas line run for another appliance (by another plumber). The new plumber walked up to us and asked us if we knew we had a BAD LEAK in our fittings because "whoever ran the lines (Tatum Plumbing) put interior fittings in your yard instead of using exterior fittings". This individual had no idea of the problems we had with Tatum Plumbing. I can not recommend this company to anyone who needs any repair or installation of a gas (propane or natural) project completed The fact he couldn't tell the different between a propane vs a natural gas water tank, and then placed the wrong connections in our yard leads me to believe he needs further education in this area.

Experienced hot water heater leak on New Year's Eve and they came quickly after being called, shut off the water and drained the tank. Returned early in the morning on Jan. 2 and replaced the 40 gallon tank.

They have done many different jobs or me at my home. They really are the best plumbers I have ever seen. I have rented, purchased, built and remodeled many homes in my life time and they do great work! They are honest, good men. They are quick to arrive when I call.
