Our older countertop was changed to Typhoon Bordeaux 4 cm Granite slab. The end product looks very good. There were minor issues with plumbing fixture and caulking which were addressed promptly as soon as I let Bruce know. I believe American Granite provides value for money and good service and I would consider hiring them again.

AAA service from start to finish. Measurements were perfect. Installers called when they left their warehouse, so we knew they were en route. Price was super reasonable. Absolutely a quality operation, start to finish. | |Bruce said his motto is to do what is promised, and he did exactly that. I have recommended this company several times since, and will continue to do so.

They put granite cabinet tops on in our kitchen. They did a great job.

They did a great, job and the granite is beautiful. I looked for a year before deciding on the granite, and finding Bruce and his company at American Granite and Marble is what finally convinced me to do the work. All of his people are very good, and everything goes just like they tell you. They are very nice and helpful with suggestions, and making sure everything is to your satisfaction. I know other people who have used other companies to install their granite, and they did not have the good experience that I did. They might not be the cheapest job, but you can be sure it will all be right. Bruce helped me a lot with other things that I needed done and led me to some great people to do other work for me also. We were extremely pleased with the services provided by American Granite and Marble. Bruce was very easy to deal with; he promptly returned my phone call to set up the initial appt. and he was very helpful. The installers did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend this company for any one needing granite or marble or work. The work they performed was flawless.

The entire process, from start to finish, took about two weeks as I selected a granite they keep in stock. They were always prompt and didn't have a long waiting list. In coming out to measure, they were precise and made suggestions regarding the cut of the edges, lengths of overhangs, support colums and sink styles. They actually could have installed it sooner but I had a conflict. They did all their major cutting and finishing in their shop which gave it a better finish, and made for less mess/dust at my home. They were always on time and worked efficiently. When we ran into problems with unevenness in my cabinetry, they refused to "make do" and finish it. I was told they could wait up to a couple hours if I could get someone to come and level them as they are only allowed to shim up to a quarter inch. I was a able to get someone in right away and the men waited. This put them finishing later than anticipated, but they worked right on through to see it completed that evening. They cleaned up everything upon completion and informed me the end caps would have to be put on the next day to allow for their work to set up. I couldn't get free the next day so called the day after and he came right out with the pieces and put them in place. It was handled professionally from start to finish and both their product and their workmanship are top notch! I would highly recommend them to anyone, and would definitely return to them for any future granite work!

I consider myself very thorough when completing any type of project, be it DIY or hiring a contractor. People who know me consider me as a bit OCD. For my counter top project I started by making a drawing of my kitchen to scale and visited several local granite contractors. After visiting with each, checking reviews, and seeing some of their work first hand, it was clear that American Granite and Marble was first rate. Every part of the project was very enjoyable. Mark was wonderful to work with through the entire process and was very down to earth. He was always available to answer any questions or concerns and took great care to make sure every aspect of the project was done well. The counter tops were templated perfectly, cut beautifully, and installed very well. All of the cutting, edge profiling, and polishing was done in their shop by machine. This was one of the differences that led me to choose them over the other contractors that did some of this by hand. Edge profiling in particular is noticeably better when done by machine. A neighbor had recently had granite installed by a different contractor and I happened to be home on the day of the install....The installers used angle grinders several times in the driveway during the install to touch up their counter tops, I assume to get a good fit. My install went perfectly, with everything fitting like a glove. The installers took their time not only to do the work well, but to explain what they were doing with me. They also spent a good amount of extra time making sure my dishwasher was installed flush and level. This experience was one of, if not the best experience I have had with any contractor to date. If you are in the market for new counter tops, you owe it to yourself to at least give them a call. If you can, drive out and take a look at their shop and talk with Mark.

They beat everyone else I found on price. I was pleased with their work and I would use them again if I had the chance.

I went to their shop, discussed what I needed, and hired them. So far, they have been very good to work with, and I have nothing negative to say about them. The owner, Bruce Stone, was more professional than the people at the other companies. He seemed knowledgeable about the products and that made me feel more comfortable about using his company. His price was as good as or better than other companies we looked at. He also gave me good referrals to other vendors I need in order to get the work done, such as plumbers and cabinet people. He referred me to three people, and I’ve used two of them. I would use this comany again.

This company made the process of replacing our counter-tops as easy as possible from start to finish. They are very professional and provide great communication and responsiveness, making sure to address any concerns throughout the process. We have been pleased with the results and would definitely use this company again. I am not rating on price because we did not comparison shop on prices as we had intended. After we initially talked with Bruce Doane at this company we felt certain we would not want to work with anyone else. I feel the price was fair and will be determined to a large degree by your individual material selection. The cost was in line with a similar project that friends had done by another company.

.I really liked the guy who cut the granite. He matched the grain on the granite perfectly and made the whole thing flow perfectly. It was quick and easy and we liked everyone who came out. We found them on Angie's List and liked them the minute we met them.

We decided to renovate our kitchen/half-bathroom, including new granite countertops which replaced old, pressed-wood countertops in the kitchen and a porcelain slab in the half-bathroom. Our custom cabinet builder suggested American Granite and Marble for this work, based on his previous work with them. I met with Bruce, American Granite and Marble owner, who came to our house to estimate the project. He was cordial and very professional, as well as very knowledgeable about countertops. Bruce provided me a written estimate by email after his visit at the house. I did a quick comparison and selected them for the job. About a week before he was to come to the house to make the countertop templates, I visited his showroom. He helped me select three samples for the countertops (based on floor tile pieces I brought to his showroom for matching). I also changed our selection for the kitchen sink (I upgraded it), which Bruce priced for me on the spot. I brought the samples home and my wife and I made our final selection. I called Bruce and gave him our choice. On the appointed day, they arrived and made the templates. I provided them with half the total amount quoted in the estimate as a deposit. We also signed an agreement regarding warranty of the work, etc. On the day promised, they arrived and installed the countertops. It was quick and easy as they worked very closely with the cabinet builder and GC. There were no flaws in the granite and the workmanship was great. I received a bill for the rest of the quoted amount. There were no additional charges, etc. Well done!

Great service. They made an appointment, came and measured the bathroom and made note of the fixtures (sink and faucets) that we would have installed. Then we went to the showroom where we could pick out the piece of granite that they would use. Within half a week of picking out our counter, American Granite had it cut and came to install it. They took out the old countertop for us. Professional, quick, good price. Thanks!
