Went great! The sale of my house was tough because it was vacant and I lived 6 hours away, so Betsy was my eyes, ears, and trusted liaison during the entire process. Home sales in Oak Ridge had been slow and Betsy recommended fair pricing based on comps and activity the market, but I pushed the price up and she was very professional about working with me at my price point and at every point thereafter as I dropped the price like she initially suggested. My stubbornness cost me a year on the market and Betsy stuck by me and encouraged me as I found my way to a more reasonable price. During that year Betsy made sure to watch the house. She even dripped the faucets when the temps dropped down near zero in the winter to make sure the pipes didn't freeze. She didn't have to do that. Just before Spring season started, I did have an unfortunate water and mold problem that reared it's ugly head, and Betsy was the one who pointed it out to me - thank goodness! She was an essential partner and indispensable helper as we juggled insurance folks, contractors, water and mold companies and potential buyers throughout the entire tear out, remodel and eventual sale.
