Kristie knew her strengths and when a referral was appropriate. She has an outgoing personality and was fun to work with. She recognized the looks I was going for and how it fit with the existing furniture and hard surfaces. She was right on with color recommendations for kitchen and carpet. Provided solid insight for what surfaces to be safer/neutral (eg countertops/cabinets) and what's easier to change (paint). She measured for maximum island size given the kitchen layout. She is not a window treatment expert, so gave me a referral to a local company that she feels is fairly priced. She consulted on color and style of carpet, and was willing to go to a nearby carpet store for samples of what might work. ho she has used. She was easy to contact (website/email/vmail) and we also had several following communications.

I needed to paint my kitchen and update my great room and I hired Kristie to help with color and decorating suggestions. I have a type of tile in my kitchen which makes color choices difficult. She was able to help me choose paint colors that worked well and complimented each other. She also made suggestions for updating the decor in my great room. Her input was very helpful and practical. I used her suggestions and my rooms look great.

I?m starting to update my mid 60s Frank Lloyd Wright-ish split level ranch, which hasn?t been updated since the 80?s. I?m starting with the living room and dining room and I plan on doing as much of the labor myself as I can. I had some ideas in my head and a few rough sketches. But I wanted to get some input from someone who actually knows something about design? So I called Kristie to schedule an appointment. She returned my call the same day and was able to schedule a two-hour appointment the same week. I shared my thoughts and photos with her before the visit. She showed up on time and ready to go with ideas that fit my style and the style of the house. She came up with many ideas that I hadn?t considered; from thoughts on my idea to remove a wall, to furniture, colors, window treatments, flooring, labor and materials sources, etc. I originally called Kristie because she was the top rated designer by member reviews. After meeting with her, I can see why. Since the first visit I had a few questions. She replied with a very thorough and prompt response. I?m looking forward to continuing to consult with her on these rooms and will most likely ask her to do a full design in some of the other rooms of the house. Her pricing is very reasonable and allows the home owner great flexibility using her services. She is a pleasure to work with.

We recently downsized and moved into an older home. Kristie helped me place our existing furniture and made great suggestions for other pieces that would work double duty(storage challenged house). Kristie also has a great eye for color. We picked out paints for the family room and adjoining kitchen. This would normally be a pretty simple process, but my family room is warm color based and the kitchen has marble tiles and a real cool color modern feel. I think she came up with a great color combination. We went over what type and size accent pieces and colors would tie the rooms together. Kristie was very responsive and squeezed me into her already busy pre-holiday schedule. I look forward to working with her more in January!

I enjoyed working with Kristie and will consider having her come again as I work on getting my new home organized. She had great ideas for furniture placement and accent pieces and colors.

Kristie was responsive and prompt; she met with my wife and I to discuss our wants, needs and helped us set priorities in what will be a large kitchen/family room remodel. She helped give direction on what seemed to be an overwhelming task and agreed to work with us to see the project through to completion. The price quoted below includes two hours of design consulting at my house + $275 for a CAD design of my living room and dining room. In my opinion, very reasonable.

Kristie came in and immediately assessed the situation and gave wonderful ideas and gave me the information needed to start this project. I have a small area that serves as kitchen, dining and family room. Because of so much happening in a small area and the wood burning stove we have to work around, Kristie's ideas will go far. I will have Kristie back to help with color and the details as I move forward with this project. Very likeable and fun to be around.

Kristie was great! She was very helpful in letting us know what furniture we should have in the room, but understood that with young children, new furniture isn't always an option. She gave us tips on how to place our current furniture to make the most of what we have. She walked us through the colors that are in the room and what works and doesn't work. She showed us what colors would be best for the room and gave us recommendations on how to choose colors and what she would do in the room. She told us what window coverings to use and what accessories items to get in order to create proportion. She also showed us how to arrange artwork and family photos to maintain a personal tough while having the appeal of a professionally designed room. This was a great experience!

Kristie came out to our home and we spent several hours going over what we currently have and what we wanted to keep and what we wanted to replace. She then sent me quite a few examples of items I could purchase either on-line or at stores in my area. We have also spent some time shopping together, which was very helpful keeping us on track. Overall, I am very impressed with her suggestions and we are very happy with the changes we have made. We look forward to continuing to work with her for a while longer to get each room in our house updated.

I had Kristie come over to help give me some direction on updating my home. I knew I had a lot of options but wasn't sure what would be best for my home or my budget. Kristie gave me some great ideas on ways to enhance and update my home without doing a major remodel. She gave me some great options for color choices and layouts as well. Our first appointment was really for me to get a path on what to do first and she fit that need perfectly. I look forward to getting the contractors in to start some of the projects and will reach out to her again for final layouts and design options.

Interiors Designed / Kristie developed a beautifully detailed rendering of our space, very specific to our overall design plan, incorporating several designer enhancements for us to consider. She provided high level product selection guidance and recommendations ? most importantly, the order in which to choose materials and colors (hard surface, furniture/upholstery, carpet, paint) ? which has been of tremendous help in focusing our energies as we plan our remodel. (Because we were too early in our remodeling process, we didn?t make any final paint color choices ? we only discussed options that would work well in the room.) She also provided referrals for some vendors that we've been very happy with. At our initial meeting, she cautioned that we might not be getting our money?s worth since we had already planned much of the room layout, but we assured her it was worthwhile to us. And in the end, we think it was money well spent. We feel very confident moving forward with our remodeling plans, and now we have the added bonus of some designer advice for some worthwhile additions. If you?ve ever contemplated working with an interior designer, but were frightened at the prospect of high fees and product markup, you should definitely consider Interiors Designed. The a la carte pricing options are an excellent value for anyone who wants to try working with a professional interior designer without the huge project commitment.

We never met because they weren’t close enough in our area, so I called Angie's List to get a refund.

We have not had experience with an interior designer but Kristie far exceeded our expectations. She literally hit the ground running when entering our condo and her quick eye was able to rapidly see the possibilities for improvement. She was very patient in describing how and why different aspects work versus those that compete. She is very knowledgeable but more importantly really listens to your likes and dislikes. Kristie's personality made the process incredibly comfortable and easy! We would absolutely recommend her to all of our friends and will use her services again as we continue with our remodel.

Thanks to Kristie, we finally feel like we have some direction! She gave us great ideas on everything from floors to colors to how to get more functional space. We will definitely be using Kristie more as we proceed with our projects. Her prices are so reasonable and she is a delight to talk with. We were a little concerned that having an interior designer would be a little too intimidating for us, but she made us feel very comfortable. I know she helped us prevent mistakes that we otherwise would have made due to our lack of experience and knowledge.

She was very helpful in picking out the tile and paint color used in our bathroom. We are very pleased with how everything is coming together. Kristie was very punctual and very pleasant to work with. She had some great ideas in what we could do to help change the feel of our living room. She looked for tables that would work better in our room and also helped look for different curtains. Interior Designs referred us to Budget Blinds of Racine, Wisconsin. We went to their showroom off of Spring St, and they were very helpful in picking out 3 blinds of which 2 of them were remote control! They also helped us in suggesting colors, etc. They personally came out and did all the measurements, and when that was done, we ordered the blinds and made an appointment to have them install the blinds! The man that came out to install them was done in a very short period of time. We felt the price was good, and it has worked out well for us!!!!!!! Roger and Patti of Union Grove, Wisconsin

Kristie was prompt, professional and cheerful! I can't wait to meet with her again to make more design decisions for our home. We started at our house and ended up at Home Depot checking out more granite samples. Kristie guided me on granite that matches our home because I don't have a creative eye to determine that.
