Description of Work: I needed a consultation regarding to how to best use the spaces in my small house. I also wanted to be able get feedback on some ideas I had having lived in the house now for 1.5 years. Kristie was amazing! She didn't waste any time and immediately set to sharing ideas about furniture arrangement, window coverings, art displays, I was able to absorb so much going from room to room and discussing possibilities. She asks lots of questions and and has a good sense of humor. We finished up with spending quite a bit of time picking out color for the walls and ceilings and she was an excellent tutor and guide. There are so many things I would never have thought of without Kristie.

Description of Work: I had an in-home consultation for decorating advice. Kristie was very knowledgable and helpful to me in choosing a paint color for my 2-story foyer that would coordinate well with the surrounding rooms.I would recommend her and would certainly use her services again.

Description of Work: Kristie from Interiors Designed came out to our house and gave us some thoughts on what we could do with our 70's ranch with a challenging layout. I sent Kristie pictures and a floor plan ahead of time along with our thoughts on what we might want to do as well as how we wanted to utilize the space. On our appointment day, we scheduled a 2 hour appointment to talk about ours and her ideas. It was a great experience for my wife and I in that we got a whole different perspective on what we might be able to do and what we should be careful about. We learned about space planning and realistic use of the space we have versus our dream of what it could be. It was well worth the money to get sound advice before making bad remodeling decisions. We're still debating on what to do, but we both feel like we have a better understanding of what is possible. When we finally get our arms wrapped around what we want to do going forward, we'll definitely give Kristie a call and get her help in turning our house into a home. Great rates and great service.

Description of Work: Kristie came out to the house and spent 2 hours helping me pick out colors for 3 rooms with an open floor plan. I had been struggling for a long time figuring out what colors would all work together and Kristie had the knowledge to know what colors would work with my decor. Kristie also helped me arrange my furniture and gave me lots of ideas on where to shop to find quality, cheap furnishings.

Description of Work: I used Kristie for some general interior consulting. My house is 13 years old- some rooms are in need of remodeling, some need to be painted, and some just needed some fresh ideas.

Description of Work: I originally hired Kristie to help me design my living room. Once I met her, I realized I could use her advice on selecting paint colors for all the rooms in my new home. We met twice at my home. During the first meeting, Kristie helped me pick out paint colors that complemented the woodwork and agreed with my tastes. She then labled all the walls with post-it notes so that the painter would know which colors to apply and provided the painter with a list of paint selections. She took pictures and measurments of the living room and queried me on what was important to me in how the room was arranged. At the second meeting, which took place just ten days later with Christmas intervening, she presented me with four different designs for the living room, viewed from various perspectives. She also gave me decorating tips on rugs and accessories, information about furniture brands and prices, and things to consider when choosing furniture vendors, such as their return policy.

Description of Work: The services performed was a re-design of my living/dining room. I have a beautiful stained glass grandfather clock that my husband made that didn't really match the rest of my living room. I challenged Kristie to make it look like the clock belonged in the living room. She came by the house and checked out my living room and gave me 3 computer generated designs of options for furniture placement and design. She helped me choose paint colors and came back to my house and actually helped me move and place the furniture. I actually spent $5,000 for the redesign and $400 on professional services.

Description of Work: Kristie helped us redecorate our living room. She helped us select paint colors, window treatments, wall decor, light fixtures, upholstery fabric, and furniture placement. My living room has been TRANSFORMED! Kristie spent hours looking for just the right items. She always kept us informed of her progress. I felt she went above and beyond what I would have expected. She is so creative and intuitive! We are extremely happy with the whole process and of course the end result!!

Description of Work: Measured rooms and got information from me for colors and what my likes are. She put together furniture layouts and pulled info from overstock for wall decor and rugs.

Description of Work: We have wanted to combine two smaller bedrroms into one large master for some time. We contacted Kristie to see if this would be possible. She checked out the structural feasibilty of combining the two rooms, decided it would work and drew up all the specifications. After the necessary structural changes were completed, she set upon decorating the room. Working with my preferences, she chose paint color, bedding, lighting and needed additional furniture to create a wonderful restful haven for us. The room is my favorite place to read and relax.

Never in a million years would I have thought it could look as elegant and pulled together as it does now. She helped us choose paint colors, window treatments, placement of furniture, and purchase accessories. Now, a year or so later, we hired her again to help with our living and dining room. She has helped us again choose paint, window treatments, and wall decor and accessories. It is gorgeous!!!!!

Description of Work: Kristie, the owner, has done decorating for holiday parties for our staff. She has created some wonderful effects. I also have seen her decorating skill in her own home especially during the holiday season. Kristie would be able to take your decorations or ideas and really create a mood that is really special. She also has done some rooms for some of my friends who have been really pleased with redoing a master bedroom and a small boy's room. Description of Work: I wanted to completely redo my living room. The room has a very difficult floor plan and I needed assistance in achieving the look I wanted. Kristie came in and took measurements and then drew up a floor plan that works very well. She also planned the color scheme and offered samples of suggested fabrics for the window coverings and furniture. The project turned out beautifully.
