We called Stinnet Heating & A/C to check out our A/C that wasn't able to keep the upstairs of our house cool.  They sent a technician out to look the unit over.  He told us it could be repaired but would be about half the cost of a new much more efficient unit and he recommended replacement.  We arranged for a sales person to stop by later that day and give us a quote on replacing the upstairs A/C and heater unit.  Rob Noll (one of the owners) arrived on time and gave us an estimate.  They did not charge us for the service call.  Rob showed us they were licensed, had workers comp coverage and were rated highly by the BBB (I checked them out at BBB and they had the highest rating and no complaints over the last 12 months).  He left the estimate and told me to call back when we were ready to replace the unit.  I called another company to get another estimate on the same unit.  They came 4 hours later than scheduled and their estimate was $1400 more (no thermostat included).  We called Rob back the next day and arranged to have the unit installed.  They arrived on time with the new Carrier equipment.  They removed the old inside and outside units, installed a new thermostat (included in the price), installed the new units and cleaned up in about 4 hours.  The techs got everyrthing tested and running, gave me a brief overview of the new thermostat, cleaned up inside and outside and left.  Later that day Rob's partner called and set up a time to stop by to take a credit card payment.  Overall Stinnet did an outstanding job from beginning to end.  I know we'll probably have to replace our downstairs unit in a year or two and I'll be calling Stinnet to do the work.
