Very mediocre at best. Cutting the grass was fine, and they showed up regularly. Their pricing was reasonable. If you have really nice landscaping, don't use them. They do not appear to have the capability to proactively identify things that need to be done, so in that sense, I do not think they are an effective full service provider. I found the owner very defensive when it comes to addressing issues related to the quality of his team's work or the work his outsourced help performed. Lot's of excuses, and then he just quit. Turfcare wants to focus on higher end, full service customers, but the service they provided left me disappointed, frustrated about lack of execution and way more involved than I wanted to be. Working with them requires the homeowner to go behind them and manage the details. I subsequently found a company (Burlap and Bloom) with an owner who is very engaged, and they have turned around my yard in one season. It's the best it has ever looked, and even more now, I understand the stark contrast in performance between Turfcare and my current landscaping company.

We had Turfcare as our lawn care service for over a year and a half when out of the blue we received a letter from the owner Patrick informing us that his company would no longer be doing our lawn. (In the middle of the summer, high season)--Essentially firing us as customers! He stated in the letter that it was due to shortages in his crew, however when his crew was here on 6/28, I spoke to them and they said there were no such shortages. We always paid our bills on time, never called to complain and were very "low maintenance." When my husband called to find out what happened, he was informed that Patrick was keeping only his "full service clients." Mind you this was after we spent nearly $ 3,000 on his company's lawn care services in 2016 alone. I guess I didn't realize $ 3,000 was a "small account" and "too small to bother with." Sad, because his crew of workers were always very kind to me and did a great job on our lawn. I guess the good news is we can now find someone who will appreciate having our business, "however small an account it is."
