Description of Work: Moved my household goods from storage unit to home. They arrived over an hour late. I had to make 2 calls. I clearly told Chris it was a 10 by 30 unit. Only two men were sent and the one mover drilled me with questions as if I lied. He then asked ME to provide a flat bed. The move began at 10 am and ended at 10 pm. I clearly asked before the hiring if they would install my washer and dryer, and put up my beds. None of this was done. My son had to do equal amounts of the moving of boxes and furniture. Without him I have no idea when the move would have been finished. One of the movers was very positive and kind, but he was not the man in charge. The man in charge kept telling me all they could not do. I guess this was because there was only two assigned to the job? It was a totally awful experience. To top it off the lead man said, as I wrote the check in full, " You are going to tip us?" I was shocked! I asked him to repeat and he did! I tipped half of what I had initially planned and that was only because of the other man who was a great worker. On top of that the lead man looked me in the eye, lied ( and I was well aware he was ) and said" I contacted the manager and he is sending someone tomorrow to set your beds and things up. Ha ha!!! He never mentioned a time so I knew it was a lie to get paid. I emailed Chris the manager. A week has gone by and no response. My advice. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Description of Work: I used them to unload some antiques that I brought from out of state. I was pleased I got two mature guys that had been in the business a long time, instead of kids just out of school. The care they gave to my older veneer pieces was exceptional. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: Ben and Brandon were very efficient and professional. They took good care of my furniture and they were very careful not to scratch walls. I need to move some more things and will definitely call True Friends and will definitely ask for Ben and Brandon.

Description of Work: I bought the Angie's list deal for 2 hours of moving labor. I needed some heavy furniture relocated in my home up and down stairs. The 2 young men who did the work were professional and were able to move the items without causing any damage to the items or our walls. They even hauled away an old piano to Good Will (this was an extra fee). We were glad to have that removed as it was very heavy and no longer used. They completed all the work within the time allotted and did not waste time.

Description of Work: Moved 2 very large washer and dryers into a very awkward space. Helped with connecting them also. Very personable and friendly. Ben and David were GREAT!

Description of Work: It was a mess! They thought it would only take 1/2 a day. It took 3 small truck loads. They dinged several items and walls. The only guy I would give a total thumbs up to is Tony, he was a bull and seemed overall the most professional and tough to handle whole job. We had very heavy furniture and he did the best. The special supervisor Brett was a huge disappointment and in the end most immature. My other biggest problem with this company is that they expected tips. I'm sorry, but I have never heard of this!! We paid plenty for the service and only moved 1 mile away. My mother moved in 2006 and never heard of this, we also moved my mother-in-law in 2009 and still never heard of tipping the guys. I thought that was what we were paying the company for and they paid the men to do the job. I blame some of this on the company owner, not planned out enough.

Description of Work: The team of Shae and Chase was very efficient, courteous and personable. I would definitely use them again for our moving needs without reservation.

Description of Work: We re-painted and installed hardwood in our Master suite. True friends personnel moved all furniture and furnishings from our Master suite and distributed it throughout our house during the project. They returned a week later to put all the items back in place. They additionally took some large donated furniture and equipment items for us to Goodwill.

Description of Work: They supplied the truck and the guys for a move.
