The Green Truck Moving and Storage Company

Money was stolen when they loaded our belongings so I worried that our items might be stolen when in storage. I was told by foreman that we were paying the company too much for our move. The salesperson expressed they would wrap my pictures but didn't provide wrapping at time of move. Our mattresses & boxsprings were dirty on arrival. One boxspring was missing and had to wait a month for delivery. Nobody followed up on the delivery of our boxsping. My phone calls weren't returned by the manager. Alex, the warehouse manager, did return my calls & I think he did all he could but the managers of Greentruck never called me to discuss anything.

I just had an estimate done by them. We didn't actually use them. We went with someone else.

Everything went as planned. Crystal at the office was especially helpful. The movers were polite, professional and efficient.

Movers were on-time and finished early. Considerate, thoughtful and thorough. Highly recommend!!

Great. Everything was down timely and quick - nothing broken.

The guys were great except they were there at least 30 minutes late. I also had everything together, sorted by room and they didn't pay attention to that at all when they packed the truck.

How did it go? Slowly. They arrived later than expected due to traffic (not their fault). But once there took a full 2 hours to wrap and load the items. Traveled to the destination and took over an hour to unload and reassemble the items. Other moving companies I have dealt with moved with a purpose...and conveyed by their actions that they knew and appreciated that time was money and they didn't want to waste yours. Everything was moved and safely, but I feel it too way longer - and cost way more as a result- than it should have.

Everything went great! We had just had our hardwood floors redone and so we were very concerned about having moving guys carrying heavy furniture on them. We told them this upfront and they did EVERYTHING possible to prevent any damage to the floors. And I am happy to say, they did a wonderful job! All of the movers were very hard working, very mannerful and didn't stop until the work was done, even when we offered to get them lunch. My husband and I have used three other moving companies over the past few months with our various moving, and I can say that these gentlemen were the best, the most professional as a group and the hardest working. And they got the job done quickly, which is important when they are charging you by the hour. Take a chance on these guys. They are also environmentally and community oriented.

Great Experience! The team of three movers arrived on time. They were clear about what they were going to do. They took care of my furniture and put in a hard days work. They moved my wife, daughter and I from a three bedroom apartment to a 4 bedroom house. The team was courteous, professional, and very diligent about protecting our items and protecting the floors to our new home. I would definitely use them again! Thank you Green Truck Moving!

The Green Truck team did a fine job of moving heavy furniture from one room to another and repositioning items for me. Took longer than expected though.

Let me start this by saying moving no matter how positive the experience is hard and not something anyone wants to do. It's a time when you are packing up your life and relying on others to care for your things as much as you do. The Green Truck Movers were great! They were really responsive and dedicated to moving all of our stuff from one side of the city to the other. They moved quickly and rarely took breaks during our 9 hour move. The team was really polite and professional from start to finish. My wife and I can't say enough great things about the work the team did on site. Our site lead was Jermaine and his 2nd in command was Dominique. Both of them were GREAT! If you get either on your move you are in great shape. As far as moving goes this was the best experience I've ever had and I'd be happy to both use The Green Truck Moving Company or refer them again.

Overall, the move went very well. They arrived on time and immediately got to work. They worked quickly but were still very careful with our furniture. We had a lot of larger pieces of furniture and heavy boxes; they worked well together to ensure everything was moved carefully but quickly. They were able to move everything out of our old house (approx. 1900 sq feet) to our new house (approx. 2200 sq feet) in just under 4 hours. Their prices are also reasonable for the service provided compared to other moving companies we have used in the past. Would definitely use this company again in the future.

I was helping my friend move. In booking the job and because of the size of the job, I was lead to believe that it would not take more than 2 hours to load the truck. We agreed to a 3-man truck. However the 3rd man spent most of the time staring into space, standing around doing nothing and/or walking from upstairs to downstairs without carrying anything. So it took 4.5 hours for the apartment furnishings to be loaded onto the truck. Unloading only took 45 minutes. I would not hire this company again. And if I ever need moving services again I will look for a company that gives a flat estimate according to square footage rather than by the hour, which I believe promotes laziness on the part of the workers. Basically, there was only one excellent worker named Howard!

Travis and his team were great! They were very careful with my furniture and equipment. They communicated clearly about each step of the process. Highly professional team and I recommend them.

The movers arrived on time. They set up door protectors and carpet protectors. They were professional and didn't answer their phones to take personal calls during the move. I didn't have much furniture to move since I downsized, so the move was relatively easy for them. My biggest, heaviest item was my platform bed. It would've been easier to transport if it was disassembled but that would've cost me more as it would've taken more time to do that. I appreciated that to save me money and time, they lifted the thing and brought downstairs from my house and upstairs to my apartment! They did need to use my restroom, which I didn't mind at all, but other people might not like that. It wasn't an issue for me at all but I just wanted to mention that because it might be for other people. They each had clear responsibilities: one was the driver and paperwork guy; the other focused on just moving items. They both wrapped and carried boxes and furniture. They even did me favor by moving a wicker nightstand and vanity downstairs for my friend to pick up. They didn't have to but I appreciated the help!

Went very well and they were very professional. Even though this was a relatively small job, the manager even came by to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction.

I contacted Green Truck because our realtor recommended them, and I really wanted to try an eco friendly moving option. For a move of our size, the company wanted to do a walk through before offering a price estimate. Unfortunately, this is the point where I had a poor experience. The estimator came by for the walk through, and used a "new system" on an iPad to complete the inventory (this was after I had already filled out a detailed inventory on the company's website). One day after the walkthrough, the estimator called me to say he had lost all of the information from his iPad and would need to do the walkthrough again! I understand that it can be difficult to implement new systems, but I find it astounding that the system "lost" all of my information and that there was no backup system in place during the transition to this new method. This didn't inspire confidence that the move would go smoothly, and I ended up going with another company. I might consider trying Green Truck again, but would need to see some outstanding professionalism before booking them.

The movers showed up on time and with a great attitude. They really needed one extra person, though, and the move took longer than they anticipated. They were pleasant and hard working, and stayed until they finished the move, even though it was past usual end-of-the-day quitting time. We would use the crew that served us again.

Marlos and Lance were FANTASTIC! They had all the qualities of truly professional movers. Courteous, punctual, careful, great attitude and work ethic. Office staff was polite and professional as well. I highly recommend The Green Truck Moving Company to anyone needing some assistance with their move!!

I had a very good experience with them. We have an enormous house and it took them three days. They did a great job. I think I found them on Angie's List. They were very careful and they did everything that we asked them too plus some. They were very friendly. After we negotiated with them, I thought that the price was reasonable.

They called ahead to confirm move date and arrival time. They arrived on time and went right to work. Ryan, Terry & Anthony did a wonderful job. I couldn't have asked for a smoother move. Very satisfied.

Someone in the group had sticky fingers and took something that did not belong to them.
